Nice for the price but...
I recently purchased this stand mixer. It is sturdy, really nice looking, and gets the job done; however, there are 2 things of note: I have only used the whisk attachment 3 times over the past week, and as in the picture included, the paint at the base (where it attaches to the mixer) is already coming off; secondly, be aware that the mjxing bowl that comes with the mixer has a raised center - anything that settles at the very bottom around this DOES NOT GET MIXED! Learned that the hard way when a big clump of unmixed cake batter fell in the pan.

So far so good
I recently purchased a Kitchenaid mixer, and I have to say, I'm not as impressed as I thought I would be. It seemed to struggle with a recipe with only 1 1/2 cups of flour. This mixer has handled everything I've made very well and doesn't struggle like the kitchenaid, which kind of surprises me. It's coming up on one year with this Aucma, and it is still my go to mixer, and no issues with the up and down lever so far.Another Update--I made Hawaiian rolls, it called for 4 1/2 cups of flour. I did need to scrape the bowl at the beginning(mixture was very thin and runny, there are a lot of liquids that go into this recipe before adding flour), but after mixing the 3rd and 4th cups of flour into the wet ingredients, dough ended up in a nice ball on the hook. Recipe instructed to knead for 10 minutes, I did 5 minutes and turned mixer off for 1 minute, then did the other 5 minutes. It may be able to handle a full 10 minutes, but I don't want to push it. There was no sign of overheating after the second 5 minutes. I think with every mixer, no matter how much you pay for it, at some point you need to scrape dough from the sides, so I am pretty satisfied overall with this mixer.UPDATE: I made some rosemary bread and I have to say, I am impressed with how well the mixer did with the dough hook. I know some are saying that they had to scrape the sides and bottom of bowl. I did not have to scrape dough, not even once. It picked up from bottom and sides very well. You can see from the photo(white dough), there is nothing left on the bowl, it's all on the dough hook, that was without using a spatula at all. This was a recipe again with only 2 1/2 cups of flour. I will try a larger batch of cookie or bread dough soon and update on how it does. I mixed dough for about 5- 6 minutes and there was no issue of overheating during that time.Original Review: The first time I used this, I made a simple spritz cookie recipe, it was a pretty thick dough, but only 2 1/2 cups of flour, so not a big batch. At first it wasn't reaching the sides or the bottom of bowl. I gave it another minute and it did start to catch it all. I added pink gel coloring to the dough and you can see that the dough in bowl is all pink, so it did in fact pick up from the bottom and sides , there was no uncolored dough left in bowl. When I was making the cookie dough, it seemed to be struggling a little on the lower speed, but once I put it up a little higher, it seemed to do ok. The whole thing is a pretty decent weight, heavier than one I previously ordered and returned. In my opinion, it's not very noisy, my hand mixer is much louder. The suction cups on bottom are very strong, it was a little tough getting them to release from granite countertop the first time I used it. Now I use a thick bamboo placemat under mixer and it works out well(see photo). The bamboo mat keeps it from moving around and I don't have to deal with the suction cups. I started with a heavier fabric placemat, but that didn't work, it was moving quite a bit. The two attachments I've used so far were easy to lock in place and the bowl is easy to lock and remove. The blinking blue light is annoying, not a big deal, you just have to keep it unplugged when not using it.

Works fine
The size was really good but it made a burning smell when using it although it wasn’t overloaded.

Works great for mixing gluten-free/vegan bread doughs!
After years of half hearted failed baking attempts, I finally got on the stick due to a health issue and really started experimenting with baking gf/vegan, corn free , low sugar and oil delicacies.I’ve been getting better and better ( thanks to my fabulous friends and husband who have been my long suffering food tasters) and finally after 3 years, I felt I was far enough along in my baking journey to treat myself to a real mixer. This mixer is awesome! It’s super easy to mix my bread doughs and cake batters, my baked goods rise up even better than before and I am absolutely chuffed with the results! It’s nice and compact and doesn’t take up a bunch of space on my counter either.I’m a novice baker who has never used a mixer so obviously I’m no expert when it comes to mixers, but my super difficult to bake goods are turning out beautifully so I have no complaints. The only thing that was slightly off putting was that the dough hook and beater were covered in a super shiny silver paint that did not look the safest. It was flaky and I didn’t want that possibly toxic paint to flake off into my mixes so I actually washed it in the dishwasher although it says not to.I included a pic of the dough hook after it went through the wash. The paint came off leaving them dull but perhaps more sanitary?🤔and when I mixed up a batch of bread, nothing flaked off into my dough.I don’t use this mixer to mix my wet ingredients with my dry ingredients for my cakes but I do use the whisk feature to mix the dry ingredients together.Gf/vegan cakes are very delicate and whisking or beating the wet and dry ingredients together will overwork the batter and leave it denser than it would be if you simply folded the wet ingredients into the dry ones with a spatula.I do use the beater and dough hook for my breads and I mix the wet and dry ingredients together as gf/vegan bread dough is a lot more forgiving and you really have to work it to get all the ingredients fully integrated if you want a light fluffy loaf.I posted a picture of the most recent loaf I made with this mixer so you can see the results. I do also use a special pan to get it that nice, but the texture on the inside is juuust a bit more springy after using the mixer than when I have done a loaf using just my elbow grease to mix it up.I prove my bread doughs twice for a total of an hour and a half to two hours , to compensate for the beating the dough hook gives it.As a novice gluten free, dairy free, practically everything but taste free baker, I found this little gadget to be super helpful and a real timesaver.I’d definitely give this a try if you want to treat yourself without spending a bunch of money!**** UPDATE ****Ok so this mixer is even better than I first wrote.I was even able to FINALLY make aquafaba meringue with this stand mixer!I have tried using elbow grease and a fork, an electric hand mixer, AND a hand whisk and all I’ve ever gotten was a soupy bean juicy mess. This has happened for YEARS 😖Not anymore though!I included pics of my triumph because it is GLORIOUS 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾It’s just 2 cans of white bean juice, a tsp of cream of tartar, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar( I use LAKANTO) and a tsp of vanilla.Start slow, whipping only the juice then whip at the highest setting for those stiff peaks you want to see in a regular merengue and add the rest of the ingredients. In the pictures I have mine stored in a little tub to make s’mores doughnuts later on today, so you can’t see how stiff the peaks are, but trust me, it’s almost exactly like real meringue, you can even torch the top.I had to share just in case any of my fellow vegan adventures have also tried this mythical bean juice merengue and had it fail. This mixer is magic and you can totally make aquafaba meringue with it!😃
