This was our first Air con unit but as the summer weather seems to be getting hotter and hotter every year and I struggle to sleep I thought I would invest in this. So glad I did. It is noisy but it does cool my room. Like others have said the adapter for window isn't for open out type window but I knew this before I purchased it so brought the adapter for this type window to go with it. So far I'm pleased with it. We normally set it up and have it running a while before bed and can use the timer to shut off after a period of time as don't need running all night as it gets quite cold. Really pleased I brought this as going to make the summer months alot more bearable. Also reasonably priced compared to other models. Definitely worth the investment .

Im a heavy sleeper. Be aware that you won't be able to sleep with this on in a bedroom.But, it works great if you cool the room before bed and then turn it off.

Works well with the supplied window mounting, I can see how it might not fit all windows but for mine it's good, blows nice cold air, perfect for the summer, it might not cool the whole room dramatically but it certainly lowers the temp if the room is sealed by at least a few degrees which can make the difference, not too loud and the thing is easy to use.Update after 1 year she still blows freezing cold and nothing has yet broke!

Cools well but the pipe is cheap and terrible . Heats up like a radiator. Replaced the pipe with an insulated one and all good . Seller wasn't helpful and didn't despatch until the day it was meant to be delivered

I managed to get this 9000BTU unit on Prime Day.It arrived 2 days later. It weighs as much as a small car, but thankfully it has roller skates built in.The manual is well presented, but easy to figure out without it. You'll find the window kit screw and wing nut tucked away in the same bag.My flat faces south with sunlight all day. In this heat the two front rooms became uninhabitable despite drawing the curtains. This little robot of chill is a game changer. I'm able to think again. It can drop the temperature down to 16 degrees C but even on 22 the coolness is indisputable and an absolute joy. I only wish I'd got two.Yes the fan is loud, but the benefits outweigh this. If you tune out its possible to ignore this.Or just play another white noise over the top.Overall this bad boy has already changed my life. If anything changes I'll post it here.

The air conditioner arrived well packaged with everything included as expected.Once set up and running, I was a little surprised at how little it seemed to be cooling the air. The air coming directly from the unit was only marginally cooler than room temp. I assume that this was due to it being new - perhaps a days to "Run it in" would make a difference.It really has not.I have had this on for around 4 hours straight and I have seen just over a 3 degree reduction in temp in the room. It has made a louder than usual amount of noise and there is water in dripping from the outlet hose, but, the room is only fractionally cooler than I would expect it to be.I will be requesting a refund

outside hose needs to be changed for window but it does what it says on the box as for noise levels what you expect silence ? do what i do chuck it out the window slightly jarred and you`ll be grand no need to buy other stuff for it... excellent at cooling a room down then turn it off if it gets too hot then just turn it back on simples..
