Who Thinks Up These Things?
Not sure what other people are doing who negatively reviewed this product, because it does exactly what it says it’s supposed to do. Is it comfortable? Not sure. But, is it supposed to be comfy like a slipper? I don’t think so. I was just diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and the link to this item was literally left in my email by my doctor for this particular sling (she should get a kickback). Very easy to operate. My suggestion would be to make sure your toes are comfy before you secure the ankle strap. And the piece that pulls your toes and ankle up is pretty self-explanatory, and does the trick. I read reviews, I looked at the size chart, and I decided to go with kind of a combination. I have a size 9 foot, but I have a 9 inch ankle and went with the small. I think the medium would have worked as well, but I am comfortable and secure with this one. I’ve only used it one night, and I did take it off halfway through the night because there is an adjustment to this feeling. I have to say that this morning my heel wasn’t as bad as it typically is when I get out of bed. I don’t really have a comparison to value because I’ve never purchased any kind of equipment remotely like this but since I didn’t have to take a loan, I guess the price is good and it seemed to be comparable with the rest of these slings listed on Amazon. And at the end of the day if this helps and I can stand which I have to do for my career all day in comfort, I will pretty much pay whatever and go through whatever kind of crazy contraptions my doctor advises. It is well made. I didn’t need instructions to figure it out. I did watch the original video shown with the listing.

Took getting used to
It took a few nights to get used to it. My foot gets really hot in it. Worn nightly and with the most stretch it seems to alleviate my heel pain. I thought I had plantar fasciitis but was diagnosed with heel bursitis. If pain persists after using it would consult podiatrist.

Braces
I recently purchased the [Brace Brand and Model] for my plantar fasciitis, and it has truly been a game-changer. The brace provides excellent support, helping to alleviate the pain I used to feel during the day. The adjustable straps make it easy to find the perfect fit, ensuring that it stays snug without being uncomfortable.I've been using it while sleeping and during my daily activities, and I've noticed a significant reduction in morning foot pain. The material is breathable, which is a big plus, as it prevents any discomfort from sweating.Overall, I highly recommend the [Brace Brand and Model] for anyone suffering from plantar fasciitis. It’s an effective and affordable solution that has improved my quality of life. I'm very satisfied with my purchase

Worthless
Pros: Great idea, but poorly designed and implementedAppears to be well constructed in terms of stitching and materialCons: Bad implementationBad sizingWon’t stay on your footObviously not testedI did reach out to the seller/manufacturer first. Their response was basically “meh”.First of all it doesn’t fit. The sock part that your foot goes into is fine but the ankle strap is way too long. For a “medium” the minimum ankle circumference the strap will fit is 10 inches and my ankle at that point is 9 inches. So when I put it on I cannot get the ankle strap snug enough to hold the sock properly on my foot. The sizing chart indicates the largest ankle size that the strap will fit, but not the smallest. Second issue is the tension strap; the strap that pulls on your toe; which again is way too long relative to the sock. Even using the strap in the “extra tension” mode the strap still attached at the end of the Velcro. Then there is the sock itself. The inside is the same ultra-smooth nylon as the outside. There is nothing to keep the sock from sliding off your foot. Pulling in the tension strap pulls on the toe of the sock which pulls the entire sock off your foot; IF you pull on the strap to the point it is applying tension; but at that point there is no way to attach the strap. I’m quite sure this would not stay on a person’s foot through a night of sleep and one wouldn’t get a good nights sleep because they would be waking up throughout the night to put it back on.Maybe a size “Small” would work better for me, I don’t know, but as I said the manufacture was really not helpful.I was really hopeful about this product, but it is horribly designed and the manufacturer is no help about what to do. Maybe the factory simply didn’t grasp what the designer was trying to accomplish. Either way I’ll look elsewhere.
