kids love them
My two girls loved these chairs from the moment they first saw them. They travel so well too. Good for the beach, or backyard. My older daughter is 3 years old, and my younger one is 1-1/4 years old. The chair is great for both of their ages and neither has any problem climbing in or out of the chair as it is reasonably low to the ground - even for a 1-1/4 year old. They can be a little tricky to fold up - whereas you need to press in two tabs before it will fold up. I have watched man, woman and child fight with these to get them folded up; but in the end it is probably designed this way so that they don't fold up by themselves when a child is sitting in the chair. If you don't know the tabs are there and need to be pressed, you wont get them closed. Even if you do know where you need to press, it can be tricky / difficult.

GREAT
I bought this for my 1.5 year old for BBQs or beaches because she kept struggling to get into the adult ones and of course i was afraid of her falling from up high on those. I put it up and she is in love with it just like our adult ones so she finally leaves our alone. She still kinda has to work to get into it cause she's still little but she does fine and at the beach we just push it down in the sand to make it lower for her. My draw string plastic piece was broke when i got it but It came all the way to Japan (military over here) so can't complain to much on that. don't really need that part so didn't bother me too much. Best ideal ever for them to come out with children size. She will be able to use this for YEARS comfortably. oh and the cup holder is awesome she feels so special when she get to up her sippy cup in it.

Great chair for 6 year old
Got this for my daughter to for when we go to sports events for herself or her brother and when we go camping. She is 6 and tall for her age, but she fits perfectly in the chair. Im sure she will get a few years out of it before we need an adult chair for her. It’s sturdy and easy to open and close, and love the carrying bag it comes with.

more toddler size, not kid size
Cute chair, looks sturdy and well made. It's a lovely hot pink without looking like a highlighter. I also like there's a locking mechanism to keep the chair fully opened and prevent collapses. (found that as I was trying to get it folded up to put away!) My only complaint is this is more a toddler size chair. I was looking for a smaller version of the adult style, but this was way too small for my 6 year old who's average height. It will work ok for this summer, but I am continuing my search.

Great for our Three Year Old
I bought this for my three year old daughter. It was half the price of similar camp chairs. It is just the right size for her and light enough that she can carry it around the living room, deck, or campsite. I can't find anything to complain about when it comes to the quality of the production. We have had it for three months and it still looks and works like new. And it's pink, so my daughter likes it. Next summer when my son is old enough to be walking around we will be purchasing him his own camp chair from Redmon. My wife and I already have quality camp chairs, but I would be quick to check out Redmon's options if we needed ones for ourselves.

Nice chair, but a lot smaller than I thought!
I wanted our 6 year old daughter to have a camp chair like her dad and I do, and I thought this was was perfect! Until I received it, and I realized how small it is. It's really made for a 2-3 year old. I can't imagine a 5 or 6 year old being comfortable in this chair because it's so low to the ground. Our daughter isn't very tall, but it was way to short and small for her. It looks to be a well-made chair and the color is lovely, but if you're looking for a chair for a bit older child, keep looking. I had to return it.

Bought this a second time, plan on getting more
We bought one of these three years ago for my son. He loved it so much that it ended up being used daily. His is very beat up now (these aren't meant to be used every day for three years, be left in the rain and sun and show no wear). My younger daughter obsesses over it, so I bought her one too. I now plan on buying my oldest another, plus one for our baby for when he gets older. They are perfect for ages 1-5.

Disappointed
Had previously order a simuliar type of this child's chair. So expected the same quality. When the new chair arrived and I went to set it up for my Granddaughter, I could not get the legs to lock down. The fabric was sewn too tight and would not allow the latch to catch. Chair stays in its bag.
