Received it today and plug it in and the Windows 10 recognized it and was easy to configure the unit with Zoom,OBS Studio and VOIP on my system with no problems running any of my Apps. Highly recommend it if you need to connect a special individual Mic./Spkr. headsets. audio and speaker sounded excellent. ThisMillSO USB Audio Adapter Stereo External Sound Card, USB to 3.5mm TRS Headphone + Microphone is the one to get.........Great build and solid with a nice blue anodized aluminum.

Like other Milso products, it feels solid and is very nice looking. The connections all feel good -- not loose, and not too tight to use.On Linux, it's detected just fine, plug n play, and basically works fine. This device is intended for use with gaming headsets. I tried using it for something more like high quality sound input. So here are a few notes from using a Shure PGA48 microphone (a pretty decent mic) with this.1. Plugging a mono mic cord in didn't work at all. I had to use a female TS to male TRS adapter.2. The device seems to introduce faint whine. I've read with other devices about a ground-loop causing this, but my experience is this whine comes even when running on laptop battery. See the pic. The whine isn't very loud/noticeable, but if you're looking for high-quality recording, then this wouldn't be what you want. No other reviews seem to mention this, so maybe it's a quirk with the one I received, or maybe it's not intended to be used with this kind of microphone.3. The mic input wasn't super loud. If I cranked up to 150% through software means, then it was decent.Overall, I like it, and it works and does something the laptop's built-in headset/mic jack can't do, so it's good to have this.Full disclosure: I am being reimbursed for this purchase for giving this review.

Wrote an opinion on these when I wrote about the speakers. I had purchased the same splitter from this company only using the earphone jack. The jack splitter worked just fine but I didn't plan ahead and this set up made a mess of my desk. I then saw the USB splitter and this cleaned up my deck perfectly. The review asks about volume and quality of sound. Personally I feel this doesn't apply for the splitter and these questions should be answered with the speakers.

The pros: This works right out of the box. The cons: The audio has inadequate signal. Output volume definitely lower than other devices. Input volume is REALLY low; even with a mixer going into this mic jack I cannot bring the level up high enough for people to hear me properly in Zoom. Also, the Windows driver for this has no stereo mix, so it is not possible to record the sound being played--a huge drawback for me. I'm going to need to get another device that works.

Needed to fix a sound issue on a streaming computer when the built in sould card stopped working properly. This solved our problem quicly and with little expense.

Great quality voice input from two headsets into one PC for family video calls. Simple plug and play.

Because I teach college and often work privately with my students, I needed a way to attach 2 sets of headphones to one PC. This USB unit splits the audio into two headphones and does it well. I ordered this unit as well as the regular headphone jack splitter (also from this company) for those instances where the regular splitter doesn't work because of a particular computer's issues.Very pleased and highly recommended !
