Best audio system on the market.
Sonos best sound system in the market, I own a full array of their products. This is just one piece of several I own. Works with multiple music subscriptions and comes with access to Sonos music for free.

A Must Have Item!
So I started my Sonos experience with a Beam and 2 Ones (Gen 2). In my head I was thinking that would be enough (especially considering I was about $700 deep in my wireless surround sound journey). The sound was amazing, but I knew it was missing that “Wow!” factor I was looking for. I immediately started researching and learned I needed to buy the Sub in order to reach that point. It took me 6 months of going back and forth, but I finally pulled the trigger... I can’t really explain to you how better the sound is with this sub. With the sub the other speakers no longer have to provide the bass, so the speakers get to use their resources on the highs and sub takes care of the lows. Everything just sounds So much better! The audio is clearer and immeasurably full! If I could go back in time I would consider even just getting the Beam and Sub and lived with that for a while then got the 2 ones. Is it worth $700? That depends on how much $$ you’ve got saved and how important all of this is to you. I purchased mine used open box from Amazon for $550 and it was still wrapped brand new (box was dinged up a little, but everything inside was immaculate).Anyways if you’re like me and bought the Beam and 2 Ones already and on the fence, wel... you’ve already gone this far why stop now haha? I tell myself I’ll be using this for 10 years to justify it for myself.

The Best BOOM For Your Buck
I have been wanting to add this sub to my SONOS system for quite some time, and that was my first and only mistake. I should have added this to my SONOS system long ago.The sound is incredibly immersive. I thought the SONOS satellites and sound bar sounded amazing by themselves (and they do), but this sub compliments them and takes the experience to a whole new level. The kids and I immediately began playing bass-heavy movie scenes (T-Rex scene in Jurassic Park; flight scene in Big Hero 6, etc.) and were wowed by how well every sound came together. The sub produces a very clean low that compliments the sound bar's highs - the balance is perfect and my guess is some balancing magic took place during set up.Speaking of setting up, it took 3 minutes. Once I had the sub placed and plugged in, I opened the SONOS app on my phone and pressed the button on the side of the sub when directed. After a quick software update, it was paired with my other speakers and blowing us away. After being impressed with the movie scenes, I streamed my Spotify library through the system and asked myself why on earth I had waited so long. Yes, the sub is expensive, but I am already planning to purchase another one or two for other SONOS systems I have throughout the house. It is that good, and very much worth the value.

SONOS SYSTEMS TRANSPORTED TO INDIA
I bought both the playbar and sub through AMAZON from AUDIOPLUS. They were like new and came in the original packages. Units were purchased for use in INDIA. For transporting the playbar I also bought Stansport 1206 duffel (50 inches) to enclose the original package. They were carried through BRITISH AIRWAYS and can be done without paying extra baggage costs. Both the units turned on when used in 220 volts and I preferred using my laptop to link them to high speed wifi provided by ACT fiberlink. Connected to LG TV through optical cable, the play bar and sub turned ON without any difficulty. The sound is absolutely astounding, well dispersed for 3.1 and very well balanced base. I also used it for streaming music. thro my cell phone. The major setback is software will not recognize music folders. Songs will have to be queued to play in the order you wish. It is a painful task. Music reproduction is superb both for Indian classical and popular music. The major setback for using SONOS in India is that SONOS do not have service facility. I expect that many units are being used in India. SONOS must at least facilitate shipping of units to SINGAPORE if a service is required. BOSE on the other hand has full fledged service facilities in India. I have been owning high end BOSE systems. I am amazed at the quality of sound that SONOS system is capable.

Simple to set up, great sound quality
We have been enjoying our Sonos Sub for 2 little over 2 months now.Just wanted to share a few observations for those who are looking to make the "investment".Pros:+ Very simple to install - specially if this is not your first Sonos product+ Great sound quality - noticeable difference with playbar only set up, specially when playing musicals and classical music (not much of difference while playing everyday TV quite honestly). It creates an amazing depth in the sound and truly fills the room (we have it placed in a family room that is 15 x 18 ft with high ceiling)+ Slick design - the lines are very elegant and the O shape makes it interesting+ Quality materials - you can tell from the moment it comes out the box, sturdy and well assembledCons:+ Very heavy - you will quickly notice will trying to move the box (or at least i did...)+ Large - this sub is taller than other in the market (e.g., bose) so even if slick and elegant design it can feel like another piece of small furniture (like a side table)Overall, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Good value for money.

Great quality and sound
Bought a second sub for my system. Easy install. Great sound and added some more bass. Expensive but great quality. Love the sound Sonos creates. Don’t like the new Sonos app.
