This worked great for grinding steel for shaping tools. I purchased separately a 1" tapered spindle adapter so we could mount this on our motor. The inner diameter had multiple plastic sheaths for sizing.

I needed a reasonably price stone to sharpen some old lathe tools and this item did a great job. It is true to size and very evenly round with no bumps, gaps, or other flaws. I plan to buy one or two more in different grits but am pleased with this one. Some who needs professional results may need a better quality stone but for me as an average woodworker is works just fine

Good stone

Great wheel. There may be a bit to be desired for "trueness", but as I have to use all the arbor adapters for my grinder, I'm inclined to think they are more at fault than the wheel itself. I plan to seek out a more rigid arbor adapter option for the future. However - it runs virtually true, and has worked great for tool sharpening with no issues.

I like the extra width

Wobbles like crazy, like a few reviews here that stated this wheel can have rotational trueness issues. Maybe one of those items you have to order 5 of them and try out each one of them to see which one is the least out of roundness and then return the rest. Seems like most of the wheels from Amazon can have this problem, pretty sad situation. I'm returning mines and will purchase one from Home Depo

my old wheel was in terrible shape. Pitted and a bit chunky. I used my wheel dresser over the years but was never really satisfied with the quality. I saw this ad and was impressed with the clear information. I went ahead and purchased the wheel, installed and dressed it first and now I am really pleased with the performance. I love this product. It delivers!
