Nice book gift, in place of a birthday card for a child! Feels good in your hands, heavy enough to withstand serious play!

My 1 year old daughter loves butterflies! She really enjoys this book. I like that it contains real photos.

This book will go to a little boy who felt devastated after seeing a video of a gnome killing a Monarch caterpillar.

It is a durable book that holds up well with my very destructible three year old. The kids love to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly while keeping their attention in a short, but colorful read. Great book to add to a science/literacy center in the classroom as well!(Butterfly garden not included)

Much smaller than expected. Nice hard pages with pretty pictures. Very short. I bought for a 3 year old. She liked carrying it around but story was maybe too old for her.

My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves this book. It short and sweet with just the right amount of information about the life cycle of the monarch butterfly for a toddler to learn. It's nicely illustrated with simple photographs and is sturdily made.

I purchased this book for my niece who is currently obsessed with butterflies. She loves this book.
