I love my Pilot pens.
I have a few Pilot pens I have been using at work for years. I do a lot of writing and my pens always work great. I just have to pop in a refill when it runs out. I was really thankful for the gel ink when my school notes got wet from a leak in the upstairs apartment. The lines on the paper disappeared but the ink did not run or fade. Saved my very important class notes. I have received many free pens. But none of them compare to my Pilot pens.

Use for all legal documents and check-writing
The gel ink pens are best for writing checks, signing legal documents. The ink cannot be bleached out and re-written over. They help prevent theft of funds from your accounts, etc.

UPDATE: BETTER; OLD:good color, but with occasional spotting, WENT TO "DRY" writing
UPDATE: Changed the refill to another from the pack, and have had NO problems, writes perfectly, with everyday use! Must have been one bad one in the pack.I find this refill to have smooth writing, good color, but with occasional spotting. It doesn't help that it is ever so slightly too long for the pen I was looking to refill. Not the refill's problem, as it was a pen from Staples, that fits my hand and challenged writing, that i had purchased at the store years ago. I could no longer find the pen listed there, and of course no refills listed (Staples brand in pen), so there was no way of knowing what to get. This refill does the job, but with slightly more ink output than necessary (globs vs smooth line).UPDATE: I had used the first refill for a while, maybe a month, keeping my daily tasks notebook, when it started behaving like it was already empty! I only use to keep my daily list, so not a huge amount of writing, but used every day. I took it out and it still Looks full, but does not write well. Changed the refill, we will see how this one does for a while. I can't yet tell if it was just one, or if they are all like that.

Hey, it works!
I use a Pilot G2 Limited as my everday carry pen. It's a good combination of a nice pen that isn't crazy expensive and won't cause me to cry if someone walks away with it. So basically once a year I'll get a pack of refills and it'll last me roughly 12 months. Good ink. Dries immediately. Flows really nice. I really can't ask for more than that.
