This actually works !
This stuff actually works , gophers and rodents can't stand it ! I spread it all around where the critters are causing problems , doesn't have to be used thick , just liberally, but enough to get on top of their digging areas , then slightly damped the top soil . Gophers , for instance, will move to other areas close , but then just keep applying in the areas where they are moving around to , I've found that within a few weeks they just decide to go over to your neighbors place instead . I've tried a lot of similar products , this is the best , doesn't smell bad and won't hurt your pets . I purchased three of these containers and that takes care of both an average size front and back yards.

It’s not that it doesn’t work, it’s the moles ...
It’s not that it doesn’t work, it’s the moles move to adjacent area, so you just keep applying & chasing them. We used the whole container & moles moved around & returned to applied areas. We ended up buying a set of four mole sonic repellers which seem to be working well & no more moles.

Cautiously optimistic. No more gopher holes. Important instructions missing though...
I used this to tackle a gopher problem. I wasn't sure it had worked at first because I kept seeing holes. But I am cautiously optimistic as there has been no new holes for at least a week. I applied it about 3-4 weeks ago.IMPORTANT: For some reason, they instructions they give are really inadequate. I read an article about using castor oil, which is why I bought this, and you need to apply in a specific way. You have to start on the good grass, then water it in (at least 20 minutes). Next day, apply to another section of grass, in the direction you are trying to push out the gophers. Water it in. Next day, another section, still in the direction away from the good grass, towards where you are pushing them out. Water it in. Repeat until you have gotten to the edge of your property. This is supposed to push them out of your yard in a controlled way, so they won't run in all directions.

Didn't work
I have a very small front yard that got a big problem... a mole moved in this spring. This was my first attempt at getting rid of him and I'm here to report : did not work. The mole wasn't even phased by this product. I'd smash down the tunnels only to see them pop back up the next day and new ones the following day. Used 2 whole bottles for my front and sides... didn't even move the mole to back... my back yard is still mole free.... I don't get it.

Be Prepared to Call the Undertaker
This spring, pesky moles moved into my flower bed and turned it into a salad bar. I live in a townhouse, so there isn’t much area for me to cover. Every few days, I sprinkled pellets through the flowerbeds, but dumped scoopfuls by the entrances to the tunnels. Per the instructions, I was sure to drop the pellets before it rained. The aroma was pungent like onions, but it didn’t last long. Within ten days, I saw less of the critters, and had to make funeral arrangements for one who expired on my front porch. I had to call a friend and her son, who are much braver than I. For $20 they disposed of the corpse. Since then, none of my plants have been nibbled, no more tunnels have appeared, and I haven’t seen any moles. Evicted!

It causes the moles and voles to move around to newer parts of the yard, not move out!
Bought 2 and it didn't work. They end up moving to other areas of your yard if you have a large yard which I do. Once they settle in, they don't move away, they just keep making worse holes and trails in your entire yard.I ended up getting poison and that worked. They do come back every spring though. I have moles and voles. My poor yard is torn up because of both of them. My neighbor doesn't have any! So, I guess once they pick a yard, they stay with that yard year after year.

Got rid of the voles!
I noticed my grass was separating and tunnels/lanes all over my yard. Did some Googling and found out voles were the culprit. I had one trapped in my basement egress window so I was able to match it to pics online. They were destroying my yard. Bought this stuff and it worked. Keep in mind the traffic gets worse before it gets better, but within about a month of using this they were gone for good. It does have a weird sent but I cared more about getting the voles out. We are heading into spring again. Bought another Batch to have on deck in case they come back.

This repellent seems to work only moderately--you need the light too.
I bought this in conjunction with the sunlight chasers. They work best. The little cute moles wiggle out of the earth to get away from the buzzing of the light. I think the repellent works somewhat well but you still need the buzzing lights.
