This variety pack was perfect for my trip to Iceland. We were worried about extreme temperature while trying to chase the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis, but we shoved the warmers in our gloves and shoes and it didn't even feel like we were outside. It actually got pretty hot at one point where we had to expose our hands to the cold in order to cool down. So, they are really good for the heat. Don't worry! You won't get burned or anything just make sure you move the warmers around. The get warmer the more they are exposed to air. They kept their heat for quite some time. I want to say around 6 hours or more. If they start cooling down, just break open another pack and shake it up and pretty soon you'll be snug as a bug in a rug. I'm really pleased. We also bought the full foot warmers too. The toe warmers are great but I liked the full foot warmers better. More surface area. Plus, the adhesive didn't last as long on the toe warmers so they tended to come off in your shoe and make an awkward lump under your sock. This is a big pack too. I didn't even use a whole variety pack but if you have a lot of people or a group, you might go thru them a bit faster.

When the weather gets cold and you must get out in the cold you need to stop and get your hand and feet warm will be or you be miserable. These feet and hand warmers don't solve all the problem but they go a long way in giving relief. I am very pleased with this product!

These hand warmers are perfect, get nice and hot and last for hours.

These work great for keeping my lunch from freezing on my bike ride to work in below freezing conditions (the largest warmer). The toe packs keep my toes from getting cold and I put the hand warmers inside wrist bands to keep my thumbs from getting cold. I use these starting at 10F and going lower.

We ski in Vermont every winter and always bring a pack or two of thes along. Easy to carry in jacket pocket. Love the assortment. Great price especially in comparison to price at the ski resort!! Have used at hone too for cold weather outings!

For a trip inside the arctic circle these were priceless.
