It's an ignitor. It ignites as it should. Not much else to say other than it does what it should.

Perfect. And now i have heat.
Last week I discovered my gas furnace wasnʻt heating. Neighbor of mine had HVAC training; I asked her to come and give me an assessment of whatʻs going on after I watched the YouTube videos and did my research and couldnʻt figure anything out; there was no reset button, no flame, and I was mystified. It took her a few minutes to look for the igniter and find it, and when she pulled it out, there was a little break in one of the prongs. The wires looked a little scorched. I ordered it on Sunday from Amazon, it just arrived (Tuesday evening), sheʻs already been back and gone, and I have heat! No charge for the diagnosis or installation, and $18.75 for the part. You canʻt beat that. "Pay it forward."

Overnight and heat returns
Very easy to work with once I found a you tube video. Overnight delivery was fantastic, because we were going on our third day with no heat.
