You should be able to, just have to leave the pump running longer. It start to kill on contact and takes about 30-45 mins before you can get in the water.

Q: Do you have to vac the entire pool after puttin this in?

No vac needed This product is well worth the money I'm on my second year on my bottle. Algicide is a waste of money this stuff works and very concentrated
