Alligator tips are quite large and after testing show continuity when jaws are open.
Due to the size of these clips I dont think they would be great for small components which is why I purchased them. Also I tested them by placing a non-conductive material between jaws and ohmed out wires. While one clip did show seperation the other had continuity which, gave me concerns about the long term dependability of the clips. That being said I did keep them since they were inexpensive and I feel I can eventually modify them and find a use for them.

Captain, we're being probed. Two alligators off our starboard bow.
What's that? You like 4 point probes? Kelvin measurements of <1Ohm resistors is exciting to you? Then buy these! These alligator clips have a great personality - I love that they look like faces. But in all seriousness, I'm very happy with these. The quality of the lead ends and wires seems excellent. They shrink wrapped every 10-12" so that the wires stay neat and tidy, and best of all, they are what they say they are!I use these with my Rigol DM3058E multimeter. If you want to get accurate measurements of resistance for current shunts, you'll want some 4 wire probes. It makes it a lot easier and takes the guesswork out of your measurement.Be advised that these alligators, with their strong personalities, are neither detachable via threaded ends nor bananas. They are permanently fixed on there. Good for measurement, but it means if you need to get into smaller areas or measure across shorter leads, it will be tricksy. The alligators are very large (similar in size to the Amprobe AL35s, but slightly smaller). The strain reliefs are great. Clipping action is firm but not too strong. I don't fear them.If you hold one of the clips open while measuring, it will autorange your meter all over the place. This tells me that the two leads are probably wired to the top jaw and bottom jaw of the alligators. The teeth appear to be gold flashed (they are yellow at least). They're not plated, they have a super thin flashing to help with corrosion.Definitely love them, but I might need to pick up some finer probes for smaller stuff.

Kelvin four-terminal test leads with affordable price
These Kelvin clip test leads are pretty well made and they come close to what you’d pay considerably more for from companies with familiar names. These are what you need if you want to measure low resistance accurately with your four-terminal Ohm meter. The clip jaws fit together very well and the spring tension is where it should be. The clip jaws are a little large for trying to get into very cramped spaces. The lead wires are flexible and so is the insulation. I didn’t test the breakdown voltage because in normal situations Kelvin leads are not used on energized circuits. Over all, I am satisfied with my purchase. These leads are terminated on sleeved banana jack ends. Be sure to order the right type of leads for your meter. Some L-R-C testers require BNC terminated leads.

VERY nice!
AMAZING value! Some charge $150 for a set of Kelvin leads. These have very nice flexible silicon wire, with lead ends that appear identical to the test leads that came with my Rigol DM3058E. The clip ends have adequate strength and allow for various applications (based on where along the bite area you place the component to be tested). With them I'm getting stable readings (no digit jitter) out to the 4th digit to the right of the decimal point (1/10000th of an ohm).

big jaw opening
I needed big jaw opening and Kelvin connection these fit the bill. Also the plugs fit me Fluke meters allowing me to use one side to use as a two connection clip. They are well made and good price.

Very nice quality.
These could easily be resold by one of the big brands. Gold plated jaws. Nice silicone wire, banana plugs and alligators. You probably won't use these for SMT components because of the jaw design but works well for most things. You won't regret it!

Better than expected for the price
Better than expected for the price. They compared favorably (build and measurement quality) to Hioki micro-ohm-meter leads but at a much lower price. They measured the same as the Hioki leads below milli-ohms but weren't balanced for high accuracy micro-ohm measurements. They’re not good for measuring small components but you can tell that from the pictures.

Meine volle Empfehlung!
