Nice GF buckwheat
It's a good product. I would prefer organic, though. Here's how I cook it so it is a fluffy grain-like side dish, not porridge.I don't roast it. I put it in a steel rice colander and first sift out any dust. Then I rinse with filtered water. I use filtered water since my area has water quality issues. I rise it with 2 or 3 changes of water. Then I put it in a pot with excess water and cook until it is just barely soft enough to eat. Then I drain and rise 2 more times & drain really well. I put it back in the pot and put on the burner on medium, stirring gently with a spoon a few times, until it is steaming. Then I turn off the heat, put on a lid and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, occasionally wiping off condensation from inside of lid with a towel.

Good quality
Great product. Didn’t really work for me. Apparently I didn’t toast it enough . So during boiling went mushy.

It's healthy!
Guess it's as good as it gets. First time I've gotten raw buckwheat groats. Use it in a trailmix combo, on my all-raw diet, with yummy honey.

Tastes Burnt. Mushy texture.
Burnt flavor. Turned into mush when it was cooked. I've made buckwheat groats with other brands with wonderful results, but this brand...I will not purchase again.Additionally, for some reason these cook very quickly and absorb an incredible amount of moisture. There were no instructions regarding proper cooking method.Again, regardless of this, every batch I made tasted burnt, even when I intentionally undercooked it.
