Thunderbolt 4 40gbps !
Une merveille me permet d'utiliser mon NVME externe avec le boitier UGREEN + cable thunderbolt 4 de apple (meilleur cable thunderbolt 4 actuellement malgré son prix) je suis à 3500mb/s en exfat avec mon WD 5800 de 1tbL'installation est facile 3 cable dans la carte mere et hop, pas besoin de mettre l'alimentation pcie (a part si vous voulez utilisez les 100w de charge)Attention tout même vérifier sur le site du constructeur si votre carte même est compatible sinon ca ne fonctionnera pas.

Limited compatibilty
Compatibility is very limited, only works with certain gigabyte motherboards, and only works with certified thunderbolt products. You can plug the usb cable in but it only plugs into a usb 2.0 header so not worth bothering with. I decided to return and get a usb 3.2 PCIe card instead.

Gigabyte Thunderbolt Karte
Die Karte wurde gekauft um einen LG 5K Monitor zu betreiben. Ich benutze eine AMD RX570 mit einen Gigabyte Z590 Board. Die Karte funktioniert damit super. Ich konnte für meinen Fall ein Preis Günstiges Upgrade am PC durchführen, um Thunderbolt zu nutzen. Gekauft habe ich eine Gebrauchte als Warehouse Deal welche 15€ günstiger war als der reguläre Amazon Preis.

Werkt out of the box (getest op Gigabyte moederbord)
Geïnstalleerd op een Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X AX. Op voorhand wel gecontrolereerd dat het moederbord de nodige Thunderbolt headers had, en bewust voor een Thunderbolt add-on card gekozen van hetzelfde merk. Na installatie van Windows 11, de Maple Ridge drivers van de Gigabyte website gedownload (ik heb de CD bij de add-on kaart niet gebruikt) en zonder problemen kunnen installeren.Ik gebruik de kaart om een eGPU Razer Core X Chroma aan te sluiten. Dat werkte meteen; de grafische kaart in de Razer werd meteen opgepikt door de PC.

NON FUNZIONA
Dopo aver provato varie schede thunderbolt Titan e Maple, vorrei segnalare che la scheda madre z690 UD gigabyte non supporta questo standard in maniera seria. Una sola delle due porte ha funzionato inizialmente con Titan, ma nel tentativo di ottenere la seconda, provando Bios, Firmware e diversi Driver Controller, il solo risultato è stato che nel bios non appare nemmeno più il menu.Ho provato a comprare questa Maple ma niente, anche aggiornando il bios, si rifiuta di vedere la presenza della scheda Thunderbolt nonostante i vari cavetti inclusi, alimentazione usb 5 e 3 pin, in qualsiasi combinazione.
