It’s like a lot of scales out there that get more technical and require you wait a bit if you want all the results. If you are just looking for the weight number it’s pretty quick with response. I have another scale and apparently they use the same app- so I didn’t have to do much ( now I’m wondering if it’s some brand ? It was pre vine).. The app requires you to make an account and you can switch between users. The app will even alert you when you have gained considerable weight. LoL - I would know when I was pregnant it made an alert asking if it was me or someone else lol.Anyway this is sleek looking and enjoy the features. It arrived with batteries too. So hopefully they last for a bit.

Foremost, this already has batteries installed: how rare and refreshing is that?! So, when you unpack this scale, pop open the back of the battery compartment and remove the little plastic piece that prevents the batteries from draining. Slide the back on and then you are ready to go!Now, what I really like is how petite this is! I have several that seem to consume a surprising amount of space in the bathroom: every one I seem to find is wider than expected. Here, this is slim and compact. It looks very slick! And, this is one of those scales that you want to leave out in your bathroom: very upscale and modern looking.Now, for weight, this reads super fast and seems entirely accurate (when compared to two other scales we own). And, I really like how easily this cleans: some Method for Glass, a quick swipe, and done. We have textured scales that I have to scrub to feel like they are clean. Not here!This has a lot of bell and whistles: we played with the added tools and they seem fairly consistent with what we can see with our other devices. However, for everyday use (for just checking your weight in the morning), this is truly outstanding (with all the rest just being an occasional treat!).A super good-looking, accurate scale! So easy to clean and use! Recommended!

This scale is great for tracking your weight over time, that's about it.The app is nice, although it really wants you to make an account, which for some is no big deal, for others, it is a deal breaker, it has a guest mode but it does prompt you to make an account so that you can put your details in and track better.The major reason I bought this though is for the electrodes on it that sense body fat. I inputed my height and weight and it said I was 35% body fat.Now, for context, for my health insurance I get this measured once a year and I recently just dropped my body fat percent to about 12.5%. I am 5 foot 9 and 155 lbs, there is no way it is even possible for me to be that much in fat.I wish this calculated this better and for this reason I am giving it 2 stars.

Scales that take other data other than your weight is not accurate and if it is, only estimates how much you might have overall. So the other data I take only with a grain of salt, I don't take it too seriously. This is a pretty useful scale though with the app that tracks. You don't need to have the app on when stepping on the scale every time, it'll put in the data the next time you have the app on while stepping on the scale.
