We have a cord that is visible for our living room lamp. This plastic cover is extremely thick and gives outstanding protection and keeps our puppy safe.

This is really, really hard to get on the wire. Once it's on, you can't pull the cable through to adjust it like you can with the wire loom covers. I even got one of those wire loom cable sleeve installation tools, but it only helped a little.It is very thick and my cats aren't interested in chewing on it. Even if they did, I think it'd take a long time for them to get through it.

Fairly easy to put on. Slightly stiff due to the thickness which I assume makes it more protective of the cords.

I bought this cord protector in February, and installed it as soon as I got it. Our four-month-old labrador puppy was (still is!) a chew monster. He chewed through two box fan cords and two room heater cords, plus smartphone/notebook charging cables too many to mention.This wrap worked wonders. Although the dog still tried to chew the cord I put this on (an infrared room heater) he made no progress. We had been wary of leaving the heater on, even at night, despite the chill for fear he would chew through and shock himself. We no longer have these worries. In fact, the dog's interest in this particular cord seems to have waned because, while the heater was still in use, he gave up on chewing through it. He still chews on lots of other things, but this cord no longer interests him. With cold weather soon approaching, we have no qualms about using the heater knowing the dog can't bother it any longer.I do recommend this wrap. It is stiff, and it takes some patience to work it along the power cord's length but the result is well worth it.

I think I’m approaching hour one of installing my 10-foot phone charger and I’m only a foot in. The protector doesn’t have a wide-open channel like in the pictures. Instead, the thick plastic is rolled in on itself and is very hard to pry open to fit even the skinniest cable inside. I’m worried that the plastic edge pressing on my brand-new cable will damage it instead of protecting it from my cat’s chewing, but I don’t think I can return this because of the scratches from the pliers I’ve been using. Also, my fingers hurt! Look elsewhere for something that’s easier to install.

They’re a little difficult to thread your cords, but that’s one reason they protect cords so well.

Though it works as advertised and easy to install. It was discolored with a yellow hue not clear.
