We use the monocular for bird watching, We have many species in our back garden. We are both spectacle wearers, but the optics work well for us with the specs off. Very easy to get pin-sharp focus. The monocular is sufficiently lightweight to slip in a jacket pocket for a walk without the weight and awkwardness of binoculars. We are going to enjoy this. So far have not tried to use the Smartphone attachment, but have fitted it to check and it seems fine. The non-misting is another bonus over binoculars we have previously used.I have no idea what 'sheerness' means.

I bought the monocular with a tripod same make and works a treat in my back garden with my mobile phone attached.... I zoomed and focused the monocular first with my eyes then attached the note 9 phone took at little time maybe 15 mins to set up but once done achieved what I wanted.

Lens quality is good but not recommended if you are looking to use it with your phone. Also, you get a circular image which was a bit of a surprise. if you can align it the pictures are pretty good. IF???

This was a Christmas present for my partner, she loves watching stars and she felt it worked better than the telescope I had bought few years back. It is portable and has good vision. With the added bonus it taking pictures with the lens via the attachment that comes with it. Very impressed, even used for birdwatching and a good viewer for such.

Well made and good size in hand.The magnification it not pin sharp but good enough.The phone adopter works but its needs to be fitted to a tripod to take pictures as it is impossible to hold it still enough in your hand.If you want a really good quality monocular then this is not the product you. If you want something for casual bird watching whilst out on a walk then they are good enough.
