Good quality
Bad point- straps aren't brown, that's it. Really good quality, sturdy strong material, absolutely perfect for me for work in nhs. All its carrying is uniform, pens, and phone.

A very retro looking bag but I received black straps and not brown like the pictures...
This Kono canvas backpack has a vintage feel to it due to its shape and buckle design. It is made from canvas and has a leather trim. It has a reasonable size of 30x15x40cm and is quite spacious inside. It is held shut with a drawstring enclosure to keep contents secure and the top flap comes over and is fastened with two magnets. It does look like you’ll need to buckle and unbuckle to lift up the top flap, but they held in place with simple magnets so is quite quick to open and close. There a plenty of compartments to separate your belongings. Three on the inside which one of them is zipped, four compartments on the outside which all have zips, and this is on top of the already spacious main bag compartment itself. The bag feels very strong and well built with its canvas body and is reasonably lightweight. One thing to mention is my bag didn’t come with the brown leather straps but instead, mine were black. The rucksack still looks nice with black leather, but it should have been brown going by the pictures so that’s something to watch out for if the colour contrast is an issue.I like this bag more now I have it than what I thought before I got it. I love the texture of the canvas, it’s comfortable to sling over your shoulder, and looks very retro. The magnetic buckles are very welcome as it’s better than using the old-style buckles, which is what this looks like it does but really doesn’t. A very nice bag indeed…

Broken with a few days
Unfortunately the backpack lost one of its magnets fasteners with days of receiving it. We will be looking to return the item.

Quality Retro Canvas Rucksack
I wanted to get this rucksack, because I liked the look, and the canvas took me back to bags I had when I was younger.I thought that this rucksack would be perfect for when I go out with my camera and a few bits of equipment as it has a good amount of separate outer pockets, and it is also lined. The canvas is extremely good quality, thick and heavy and the lining seems well attached. The zips and buckles appear to be good, I had no difficulty opening and closing them, and they seemed strong. It has a srawstring to close the top and protect the contents. The various straps that adorn the rucksack were supposed to be brown, but they arrived with black ones on; whilst that was not a problem for me as I actually liked the black ones better, you need to be aware of it, and the supplier should really update their photos and/or description.I think that this is a good rucksack for anybody who likes a bit of retro. It holds a reasonable amount of stuff and would be good as a day bag for a trip out, or for students amongst others. I think that £25.99 doesn't seem too bad a price to pay.

Great looking, quality canvas rucksack
I was surprised to discover how large this rucksack was. Immediately I filled it up with books and my laptop, with room for more. It is a great choice for many occasions. It can be used for going to work or for a day out. It looks very stylish. I love the canvas material and the vintage style. The description should have mentioned the capacity, as it was not clear. I guess it is around 25-35 l. I love the idea of having a little secret pocket on the back; it is going to keep my phone safe. There are also three other pockets with plenty of storage for bits and bobs. All of the zips are opening and closing easily. I would have preferred to receive the rucksack with the brown leather trims, but it still looks very nice and sophisticated. Moreover, I have to mention that the metal buckles are magnetic, has a drawstring fastening and although it is not padded, it is still very comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend it.

Robust, lined canvas rucksack...
One reason I ordered this Kono Canvas Backpack is that I very much liked the contrast between the black canvas outer and its dark brown leather trims. So I was disappointed to find that the trims - which appear to be bonded leather - on the bag I received were black, not brown. Less visually appealing and if you also like the brown trims I'd suggest checking with the seller prior to ordering. That said this backpack feels robust, is capacious and - with double padded carrying straps - is comfortable to carry. I like the many zipped pockets which add to the bag's potential to organise belongings. The nylon zips all work smoothly.Hardware on the rucksack is in an antiqued brass finish. Incidentally, the two outer straps conveniently fasten with magnetised poppers - so no time consuming undoing and buckling up again. Inside, the top features a drawstring closure that will allow for wide opening and ease of filling. The interior has what I take to be a polyester lining in black. At 0.8kg this rucksack is relatively lightweight. It claims to be 'tear resistant' - but not water resistant if this matters to you and could need a fair bit of drying out if it gets really wet.The listing says the bag - fairly priced - is machine washable but no washing instructions are suggested and personally I'd be a little wary of machine washing the leather trims which can't be removed. Sponge cleaning might be preferable. Note too that the base of the bag has no protectors so could get grimy quite quickly.
