JACO Elite Low Pressure Tire Gauge - 30 PSI

I bought the specifically to re-pressurize my RO tank. My tank lost pressure after seven years and would barely fill half a cup before the stream turned into a dribble. Perfect Water, the RO company recommended a 0-20 lower pressure gauge. This one is 0-30 but works perfectly. I have one tip for users, though who may not be aware: this gauge holds the reading, so make sure, you press the little button to reset it every time you check the pressure. I had tried to use my battery powered inflator, which was a big no-no. I had to buy myself a bicycle pump to get the job done. It took all off five minutes. Five or six inflations then check the pressure and it was already up to about 7PSI. A few more pumps and it was sitting at 10. I pushed it in a little until the air escaped and got it down to nine, which is exactly where my RO company said depression needed to be. The force from the faucet is now strong and works exactly as intended. I highly recommend this product, which is very robust built. The gauge is clear and easy to read. The brass construction means it will not rest and will last a long time. The rubber housing makes it easy to hold without slipping. most pressure gauges will start their reading from 5 to 10 PSI. If you need something for RO systems, you can’t go wrong with this product.

12-06-2024 i contacted jayco a few days back and have not heard back about a replacement.Hello? I planned on using this gauge to set my slicks, which run at a low psi. 4-5 psi wrong could mean a lost rqce or worse too much psi and hitting a wall.I asked a few days ago, what do I need to do to get a new mechanical gauge since thebdigital(which I offered to pay the difference for) are on back order. I'll update once I hear from manufacturer

It works but is sometimes difficult to get the gauge turned to where it is readable, especially if you need to bleed air out, while on the 6" or 8" lawn mower tires.

Use tire gauge for my SXS. Works great. Easy to handle and use.
