Terrible design-cheap, get what you pay for!
Don’t waste your money. Of course I installed a couple days after the return date and now found I just wasted $14! The locking mechanism to hold the meter in place will not secure the module. Keep looking! Don’t pick this one!

Excellent pricepoint
Unit has performed as expected. Just enough "tick" to know that it is on. Looks decent in the instrument panel. No backlight, but not really needed as these meters are usually used to keep track of maintenance intervals. Simple to install with the snap on bracket

Installed on a boat and when you’re floated you can hear the clicking very loudly, way to annoying for me

Will not fit in standard 2 1/8 hole.
Too small to fit in standard 21/8 hole and retaining clamp is designed for a sheet metal dash, non-adjustable snap fit.

The hour meter itself WORKS GREAT on my lawn tractor. The meter mount, well... Not so much!! In my particular application the supplied mount is less than perfect. The meter' bracket will come loose w/jarring & vibration. I solved this problem with a coat of "GOOP" household adhesive before re-installing the mounting bracket. Now, It's Perfect!!
