Replaced nibs with Lamy nibs, now I use every day
First - It's an inexpensive fountain pen. Second - Ink converter holds an ample amount of ink and neither has leaked. Third - I changed out nibs with Lamy nibs, easy to do. It's not a substitute for the Lamy 2000, but then the two pens don't come with that price tag. These two pens are my every day writing instruments. Comfortable and post well. Side note - pens write well in reverse, that might be because of the Lamy nibs.If you've used Jinhao pens before, the Jinhao 80 won't disappoint.

Son muy buenas para su precio
Sorprende que para su precio la calidad de su escritura es increíble. Recomiendo mucho estas plumas aunque sus acabados no son sobresalientes porque son de plástico y no son muy atractivas, pero al escribir te enamoras de ellas

Fantastic value for the price
Firstly, for those who may not have noticed, this is a set of TWO pens, one in black with silver trim and the other in black with black trim. Both have a chrome, extra fine nib. These imitations of the Lamy 2000 feel cheap compared to the real ones, but they're still great little pens and the value for the price is crazy. For a bit more than the price of a Lamy Safari converter, you get a full pen WITH a converter! The material is a cheap, but solid plastic. I wouldn't be worried if I dropped a pen. It's nowhere near as solid, refined, or dense as the Makrolon of a Lamy 2000, but it looks and feels nice enough. And the pen is a lot lighter. Whether lighter is better or worse is a matter of personal preference. I happen to like the heft of the Lamy 2000. But this pen is so light that you don't even feel a difference when you post it, and it posts very nicely. The trim is all plastic. The silvery clip is just colored plastic, so it isn't as robust as the metal clip or the real Lamy 2k.Now here's where Jinhao went the extra mile and made this a must-buy. The nib that comes with it is decent. It's extremely fine, though, which not everyone likes. BUT... it takes Lamy Safari nibs! This opens up the entire world of Lamy Safari nib sizes, from extra fine to extra broad, stubs, and the recent "cursive" nib with a slight architect grind (basically a reverse stub). You can also get different qualities of nib, from the basic nib of the Lamy ABC, to the standard Lamy Safari nibs in chrome or black, to the improved black Lx nibs, to the oddly curved Aion nibs, and even 14k gold nibs in gold or black. The black nibs are particularly nice on the all-black Jinhao. Now, a Safari nib costs almost twice as much as one of these pens, but it's nice to have the option of making basically a Lamy 2000 shaped Safari. Let's face it, a Safari isn't the prettiest thing to look at.So, this will not even come close to replacing a Lamy 2000. There are substantial differences, especially in quality and refinement. But for $12 a pen, this makes a great pen for going to places that are too risky for an expensive pen, or as a gift for a student or to introduce someone to fountain pens.

Good value.
A pen is a common writing instrument that applies ink to a surface, usually paper -- WikiTo that end this pen accomplishes it's goal. You will not impress anyone with it, but if you are someone who still uses a fountain pen you are hopelessly lost in a time warp anyways. The "Fine" nib is not an ink hog, and for the money it looks quite nice. I would consider the medium nib

GREAT INTERMEDIATE PEN
This pen has really grown on me. Surprisingly smooth nib with next to no drag. The pen feels comfortable in my hand. I am using the EF nib with this pen and I can't find any fault with it. I use this pen at work every day. I do not need to worry about losing or damaging this pen due to its cost. This would be a great everyday-use pen.
