Easy enough to install if you are familiar with cameras on most of the setup processes for your environment. Super clear resolution and easily adjusted focal point. I will definitely be buying more. Only flaw is there is no 90 degree rotation of image in software so depending on requirement you may need to make sure it can be mounted horizontally for proper orientation.

Nice little camera - initialized easily

This camera cannot be made to work even by IP experts. The manual that comes with the camera is for a different bullet camera with an IP address that cannot be recognized. In addition, the TROUBLE SHOOTING SECTION OF THIS amazon site that lists the camera refers to a Baby Monitoring Camera. To make things worse, all the trouble shooting questions appear to have nearly the same response.We have tried using this IP camera with several different top quality routers. The best we could do is have it recognize the camera as a 100 Mbs device but could not connect. This is the second camera, since the first was returned in hopes that it was just defective and not a design flaw.

VERY FAST AND EASY PURCHASE

The I712-2-P is probably the worst product I have ever tried. You can literally count the frames it puts out.It simply cant handle any data throughput. 5MP crashes non stop. As in every 10-20 seconds. Settings can hardly be updated as it will crash so quickly. And when it works it has a delay of 5-10s, making it impossible to manually adjust zoom and fstop.Lowering resolution to 2MP and 5fps adds a little stability but not much while the quality takes a nosedive. It won't be able to hit 5fps anyways and still has a delay of 2-3s. An absolute juke for this price.

I connected it to my router through the same POE injector that I’ve been using with my Ring camera but I couldn’t reach it from my browser. Its power indicator LED comes on but It didn’t show up at all (on any IP address) on my router.

Overhead camera for recording to OBS for live-streams.While somewhat laggy for the IP camera side of it, it does work fine.For recording footage, you can offset the audio from it in post and it's fine.The zoom works pretty well, and for the distance I need it to work I found that just removing the grub screws that are meant to keep it in one spot, allows me to adjust it on the fly if I raise or lower the camera at all and get focus on a specific area.It's pretty clear. Not what it was intended for, but it was inexpensive and it functions. The setup for the IP was simple. Just make sure you get the PDF in the product description details, as it has the username/password to login for the first time.

I took a chance. NO reviews on this product when I bought it. Yikes.But this little camera does it well. Picture is clear and colorful in the day, and IR works awesome at night. It has 2 rtsp streams with selectable quality and framerate. Very easy to install and set up the IP address, and add the appropriate stream to my NVR (I use Zoneminder). I did not test the "human" or "motion" detection because I use zoneminder to do that. Field of view is good.Only 2 complaints that make it not 5 stars:- the IR kicks in a bit too early. Compared to my other cameras (good quality Hik ones) the color image stays up most of the time and only when it's really dark the IR turns on. These, though, in a garage on a cloudy day, the IR comes on- The IR LEDs are bright. like really bright. Again versus my Hik cameras that have 2 IR LEDs and have excellent night vision, these ones are super noticeable, so much so that I probably wouldn't want them on the front of my house.If you want a really small form factor that's exterior rated and has night vision, this is a good bet. But small size in my opinion is really the only reason to get this or if you're truly on a super budget and this is all you can afford. But if you have a bit of budget and don't need "very small", look to a more standard camera from a bigger name brand maybe.I'm making no comments on longevity either - this has been installed for one day in a dry environment.Edit: updating my review after getting 2 more of these. The color image does stay on very well... Same as my more expensive cameras outdoors in the same setting. And night vision is really really good. Changed to 5 stars from 4.Edit 6 months later a number of IR bulbs on multiple cameras are failing. Obviously quality is low. Once too many burn out I'll be replacing with real cameras. Changing to 2 stars. This should not happen even after two years.

La camera dichiara 5mpx ma la qualità è molto simile alle 2 utilizzate precedentemente. Il prezzo è buono, il software della cam anche. Nonostante non sia rimasto a bocca aperta (mi aspettavo 5mpx) la qualità video è molto buona
