ANOYOYO does it again with their product rollout, the "ANYOYO NVMe Enclosure with Built-in Type-C Cable, 10Gbps SSD Enclosure, USB 3.2 Gen 2 M.2 Enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe and SATA SSD, Plug and Play, NGFF/NVMe to USB (Fit 2230/2242/2260/2280)".I bought this product because of my past experience with this innovative producer of great high-tech products for the consumer. The ANYOYO NVMe Enclosure with Built-in Type-C Cable is an A+ performance SSD Storage Drive offering functionality for a wide range of applications.I installed a SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB (with M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Hard Drive with V-NAND Technology) and I am impressed. I use it for many applications, primarily business and gaming.The latency for data transfers and gaming read functions is lightning fast. I installed another SSD stick that I had without the umpf that Samsung's memory module provides, and I am not disappointed with the ease of interface that the ANYOYO NVMe Enclosure provides. Simple, easy, and uncomplicated, just as ANYOYO has described it. I was so impressed with the functionality and design of their product, that I purchased a second one for some of my other needed operations. Thanks TEAM ANYOYO!!!

I wanna first say that I reached out to the company with a question and they got back to me in a few hours. That is appreciated.This is a nice, well-made enclosure. One benefit that I really like is the attached USB-C cable. It stores neatly along the side of the unit so no more looking for the right cable. I'm not a computer genius so this was perfect for me to assemble and use. Just slide the cover off (no tools needed), insert a compatible SSD of your choice, replace the cover and you're done. Oh, don't forget to apply the included thermal heat pads to each side of your SSD. Easy directions are included. That's it! Now, you've got a portable SSD.BTW, I bought a 500gb SSD but you can pretty much pick whatever size you need. I did buy a USB-C female dongle for non USB-C ports but of course, that's optional if you already have a USB-C port.

The kit is supposed to include the housing, rubber spacers, and two heat transfer pads. Mine came without the heat transfer pads. So I only tested it briefly, didn't want to overheat my SSD and harm it or shorten it's time before failure. Adding the cost of a couple transfer pads makes this a little more costly than other vendors. But the convenient design with the cord being attached and slotting into a channel in the side of the case makes this work considering.[Update 10/27: I received a second (replacement) unit which included a strip of heat transfer tape; no additional cost. With the heat tape installed I'm more confident using this for large file transfers without harming or potentially shortening the lifespan of my SSD. Raising my rating to 4 stars.]

i tried two other cases; neither could read my NVMe disk well; this case just worked without any fuss or special tweaking.

I can use an SSD/PCIe both M.2 compatiable.

speed is determined by the drive inside. this case works great.
