One year and and going strong
This works very well even after a year now with no shorts or loose connections. The banana plugs are a tad wide and will fit snug on applying slight pressure the very first time fitting to an equipment

Great prodcut!
Great cords, do the job & are very stylish. My only detractor is that my stereo shows them as unplugged 1/100 times, but the product itself is fantastic!

Good quality but large tight fitting bananas
I've bought 4 pairs of these Elecans over a couple of years and overall I like their build quality, look and braided nylon covering. The only reason I'd rate them 4 stars instead of 5 is because as others have said, the banana plug are a little large / flared out more than other banana plugs I've had. They fit tightly or sometimes not at all.. at first. On the last couple pairs I had to squeeze the flaring in a little with a pair of pliers to get them to go in to a pair of Totem Acoustics and amp I had. But over time plugged in and out they do loosen up and become easier fitting (but still always tight.) Sound quality sounds great to my ears (not that there's any huge difference in sound from most thick cables to be honest) so the fit issue is a fair trade at a good price.

Great cable, solid ends, down to earth price.
Apparently, people think they can hear the difference between expensive cables and lamp wire. Humorthem. They may be passionate about music. They may love listening to garbage produced in the last decade by auto-tune, and cynical producers who have always sought to hedge their own bottom line.I did a test once: listened to familiar music before and after installing a mid-priced fancy power cable to my power amplifier. There was a difference: the bass sounded a little tighter, more distinct. Was it worth it? Who knows, but after two tequilas who cares. These Elecan cables are reasonable, and I a reasonable man.

Good speaker wire, premium14AWG for 16AWG prices. A bit stiff.
Just as the headline states, great speaker wire with plenty sufficient gauge for up to 50', at a great price. The cable, and it runs more like a cable than a wire, is a bit stiff but not problematically so.Note that the banana plug *housings* can rotate and screw-off a bit easily. They're not structural to the cable however, so it's not a problem and doesn't effect strain relief integrity. And they look great. Also note that the banana plugs themselves are extremely stiff and required SUBSTANTIAL pressure to insert into the female banana plug posts on my amp and speakers. I almost didn't think they would insert or fit, but when they finally did I was left with a SOLID connection that won't incidentally pop out, and which leaves zero concern for a cold connection.Other than that, the manufacturer should consider selling a length between 25' and 50' feet (35' perhaps).

Don't fit in standard banana plugs.
Unbelievable. It has one job and the ends wouldn't fit in standard speaker plugs, they flare out and are too big. And wouldn't fit in the amp plugs either. What a fail. Will be returning. Don't waste your time.

Cables Ok but needs improvement
I like the way it looks and sounds ok right off the bat. However the banana tips are too wide to plug into the binding posts. I was about to send them back but fortunately I have some banana plugs that I ordered previously in Amazon and replaced them. I read about this in the customer comments but I thought that might be a few samples and the issue would be solved and for the price I gave it the chance but it seems that wasn’t the case. So, I would rather look elsewhere if you are willing to spend a bit more for different cables. If budget is your issue give it a try but be aware with the banana terminals because the wont fit in the binding posts. In the pictures shows the cables installed (Yayyy!!!), the useless bananas 🤬 & the ones that I replaced them with 😏.

These are a must with equiptment
Using these looks so nice compared to the wire. I’m sure sound is better because the connection makes more contact with the gold on the connection. Also let me say that most people are NOT using the right gage of wire in most cases. Always check your speaker impedance from the manufacturer and very important how far the wire will travel. Also as a suggestion, make sure your receiver/amp has a DAC, if not you will be loosing out on a tremendous improvement in your system. You can buy DACs for as low as 20 bucks. But spend 75/100 and you will have a great sound!
