Easy installation and comes with solid squeegee
Not sure why people are saying it’s very hard to install, surprisingly for me, it was one of the most easy installations I’ve done. I didn’t use it for large areas, just used patches on dings in the clear coat or paint to stop water from getting under clear coat and to ensure that the dings didn’t progress. Pretty much invisible, unless you look very hard. Make sure you cut your sizes liberally, and clean the application area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol. Then make sure you spray lots of soap water on the application surface and the adhesive part. It helps to spray the adhesive side when you start peeling it off the paper. Give it another few sprays so the squeegee can move across it easily. So far, 10/10. Will update as the film ages.

Works good so far
Works good so far.Used this to put a protective cover on my bumper.*it is pretty sticky. Like a giant sticker. It was easier to handle when treating it like tint . I used warm soap and water. Sprayed under and on top of it.The rubber squeegee worked well. I am keeping it for future use trying to get bubbles out.

Used on headlights
Works on headlights ok. Will conform and stretch as needed for contoured headlights, but, still had 2 or 3 small bubbles that appeared even when I started in the center with the enclosed rubber spreader and worked toward the outside of the headlight. Used distilled water and a tad amount of liquid dish soap and along the edges as needed to help the film stick better I used iso alcohol and water. Overall the headlights look pretty good. Use caution if you partially peel up the film after you squeegee it down for that can leave a visible line showing in the film. Just trying to minimize the typical crazing and hazing you get as headlights age. I polished the headlights like new so time will tell if this film helps maintain clarity or not?

Great for small PPF projects!
Best PPF for the money! Be patient and follow directions for prepping surface and “slicking” the film.

Imperfections in the film
The 60" roll I purchased has imperfections in the film which would have been seen on the finished product had I used it. Seems Xpel's quality control is in question. The imperfections were raised areas in the film. Most likely caused by a contaminated environment during the manufacturing process. Before you use your film, be sure to roll it out and look for these imperfections. If its not like glass, it will transfer on to our item being covered.
