Great build quality, low reliability
Sharing comments after a year+ of usage with my laptop (ThinkPad). HDMI port + USB port (bluetooth mouse) + power delivery were main use cases for this duration.1. Build quality is as good as it gets. Metal body is sturdy and durable.2. Power delivery stopped working after a year. Contacted belkin support as the device was still within the two year warranty, and got a free replacement within two days. ( I had to carry the faulty device myself to the service centre for replacement, along with Bill and Belkin provided RMA). Key was to hunt down the belkin support contact details from their web site and talk to a support agent on the phone, who was able to guide me through the replacement process.3. There may be other internal reliability issues with pass through power delivery feature. Sometimes (may be when there are power fluctuations), the device has a run away temperature increase, and enters a thermal shutdown. There's no way to diagnose this issue as an end user. This could also be a case of my specific device having a defect, but there are too many reviews complaining about over heating which could indicate a design issue. On the plus side, the full metal jacket on the device body acts as an excellent heat sink to draw away waste heat from the device, so it is expected to be slightly warm during normal operation. This whole over heating episode repeats about a couple of times a month, and is resolved by unplugging the device, letting it cool down, and resuming operation.4. Never used the lan port and SD card slot, so no comments there. Its hard to recommend this device for casual home users, as the cost is not justified. I'd recommend this only to professionals who'd be making a living with their devices and can afford this device and live with replacing it when it dies (which it will). Even then, if rock solid reliability is required, look elsewhere. The only silver lining is the two year warranty and device replacement process if there are issues.

Compact Device
I bought this hub to connect my external monitor and USB devices with my MacBook Pro. Its a well built device and feels premium. The port selection is fair, I feel they should also have added a micro SD card slot for such a price point. The device does get warm when you connect to an external monitor but that's fine. The USB ports are inverted which is a bit annoying for me. The only big turn for me is that the connecting wire of the device is a bit short and may have chances of getting worn out as it is not that flexible. (Braided option would be better one).I bought this when it was a sale, so check out for the price drop.Overall: 3.8/5

Would have loved a longer cable
The Belkin brand value and quality has prevailed. The build-quality is amazing and there are no heating issues that might have been reported with cheaper alternatives. The memory card reading is blazing fast, and it works like a charm. The orientation/position of the ports could have been reconsidered. It faces the user and not the other way round. While it makes it easy for plugging in pen drives and memory cards, it makes it difficult for using the keyboard, mouse and the monitor.Great value for money. It makes sense to invest 8-10K on a hub when you have spent 80K to 100K on the Mac. Highly recommended.

Does the job. Quality seems good
Needed an external monitor & webcam adapter for my MB Air. Wanted a reputable brand - saw some posts on reddit about some MBA/MBPs being fried by cheap random brand pass through charging adapters. Have used Belkin before and brand is reliable. Products looks genuine. Has 2 yr warranty - so that's a plus. Gets slightly warm though when using. Even when MBA is closed and sleeping, so I assume it draws power continuously. Working well, but I find the connecting cable a bit short. A bit longer cable would have helped with easier cable management. if you don't want to pay the premium for Apple's original adapter, this is a very good option

Decent product but overpriced.
I am writing this review with 1 day of use.Build quality: Feels premium, very well built. The Type C cable is thick and not flimsy at all. No complaints on this front.Functionality: Quite disappointed on this front! I have a rather basic setup. Attached a mechanical keyboard (HyperX Alloy) and Bluetooth receiver (Dell mouse) and an HDMI cable (1080p @ 60Hz monitor). The Type C cable from the hub goes into a Thunderbolt 3 port on my laptop (Dell XPS 15). Technically, all thunderbolt is backward compatible with Type C connectors, so I expected the setup to work flawlessly. But within 1 day of use, I find that Keystrokes on the mech. keyboard are registered slowly, sometimes duplicate keystrokes are registered and sometimes they're completely missed. Mouse connection keeps dropping. Both devices work perfectly fine, when directly connected to the laptops so the KB and mouse are not faulty. The cable is too short and could have been slightly longer. But this is the case with most other low cost USB hubs, and Belkin is no different.Overall the hub is not usable and I will not recommend it if it cannot support a basic single screen setup with keyboard and mouse. Rs. 7000 for a hub that cannot predictably support a KB and mouse is pointless.Planning to return my product and go for a proper thunderbolt 3 hub from OEM instead of aftermarket stuff.

Good Hub Adapter
This is a very good and robust hub adapter and easy to carry, but I think its wire can be 2-3 inches longer if used for a laptop. sometimes some mouse (razer) keep disconnecting / connecting if connected to this adapter

For Samsung S20 FE, this is the one if your screen is no longer usable.
Over time, my S20 FE took enough damage (despite using a case) that the screen stopped working, turned electric purple, then eventually refused to show anything. While I did immediately find a replacement phone, there is still a lot of content I want to get back off this phone and the Belkin USB C Hub was the one that worked for me (i bought a similar product which did not offer Dex support). The one thing I wish I had on hand was a keyboard with onboard mouse or USB passthrough, but that's on me, not the hub, and really it's just as easy as switching out a mouse for a keyboard as needed.Making use of this gadget has really helped move a bunch of content off the main phone and on to the removable mini SD.

Great Device, Does What You Is Promised
I’ve had this in use for 3 years now and it’s still working great. It’s a compact device and has always performed as expected. My only comment is that it gets a little hot when in use, but that’s no big deal.

Wired vs Wireless connectivity firmware setting
Great piece of hardware – exactly what I’ve come to expect from Belkin products. Just a note on the power passthrough and wired network connection.I’m running Linux on a newer model Dell XPS laptop with two USB-C and no other ports. This keeps the laptop amazingly thin but necessitates a device like this for USB, wired network, external video, etc. I was having trouble getting a wired network connection with the device even with wireless disabled in the OS when I discovered a setting in the system firmware (on the laptop) to automatically disable wireless if a wired connection was detected. The wired connection worked great after that and since it is a firmware setting, some may experience the same issue on a Windows based PC. When transferring larger files between devices on my home network, the wired option is 4-5 times faster than even a solid 5ghz wireless connection on the same laptop. Also, when using the USB-C power pass-through, the firmware popped up to tell me I was using an underpowered device and that the system may not achieve peak performance (words to that effect). I’ve noticed no performance impact and the battery charges just fine. All ports on the device have worked just fine with no need to install drivers.Highly recommend.
