Works ok but will have to put new ones on cause they do fall off over a few days if your cat is a kitten.

The vet was only able to put on three caps on my kittens nails as the nails themselves are very small. My kitten is only 3 months old so the the vet will wait for another month or so to see if more can be applied. Looks easy enough to put on and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all.

I’m a new cat owner and didn’t want to declaw my cat because it’s inhumane especially for an older (adopted) cat. I heard about claw caps from my mom and decided to order these from amazon and I am 100% satisfied. It’s a struggle to put them on the first few times because he wasn’t used to them. But eventually we got the hang of it. I learned it’s helpful if you swaddle your cat (like a burrito) to encase their hind legs so it’s easier to clip nails and also to put caps on the front claws. I don’t put caps on his back claws and I haven’t had any issues yet. These caps are awesome because he can still play with his toys and rub his paws on things to ‘claim’ them but he’s not tearing up furniture. Definitely will buy again and 100% recommend them to my cat owning friends!

Putting glue in caps is hard to do. Glue is mostly dry and its hard to see how much glue is actually going into cap.

I was super skeptical about trying this product. I thought that my cat would immediately chew the nails off, but he has had his nails on 2 weeks so far and they are still intact. It was easier to put the caps on with 2 people(one to hold the animal, the other to glue the nails on). When we initially put the caps on, our cat looked horrified, but now I think that he likes them. Also, make sure to really push the hair back from the nails, otherwise you will have a gluey, crunchy mess.

I tried these out since they were much cheaper than my normal brand. But these did not work as well. 1) The glue does not come with the narrow/pointed top for the glue, so it was harder to put glue into the claw caps. Luckily I had an extra top from my other brand. 2) The glue included with this set must be far less adhesive than my normal brand. As these claw caps came off after 2-3 days vs usually a couple weeks with my other brand. I would give these 1 star, but they are still a good value for the amount of caps you get. I am going to test them out with other glue and assume that what comes with these are useless.
