I bought a Hitachi back massager in 2019 and was so disappointed when the chord started to fray after a few years. The chord started getting really fussy and would turn off my back massager while I was using it, which is REALLY frustrating, especially when it would happen as I was reaching the climax of massaging my back. I was a little worried about getting an off brand replacement, but I've been using it for months, and my back massager is back to providing the same quality back massaging pleasure I've come to expect with no unfortunate interruptions.

wand died and the charger wasn't working. ordered this one and got there with 1-day shipping and charged the wand right up! speed was of the essence in this scenario, iykyk, and it works great!

Bought a whole new massager just to find this, much cheaper than that lol! Works great and the wand is basically brand new again!

I've purchased four Hitachi Wands over the years, and I still have three. The original one with the cord didn't last very long, and it makes me wonder if the cord was the fail point.I've had to replace the cords on all three of the others. They all failed within a year.I purchased three cords off of this listing to replace. The first one failed out of the box. So far, the other two work, but a 67% fail rate (4 out of 6) is a horrible track record.I'll wait a couple of weeks to get through the holiday before initiating a return. That will give a chance to see if the other two will also fail. If they do, I'll probably end up having to buy a wand from one of the competitors.EDIT: Two of the three chargers failed by the end of the return period.EDIT II: The third failed after about three months.

I use this to help my "frozen shoulder". I have found it decreases the duration of this issue. I had it in one arm then years later it came back in the other arm. It is great. We came to our winter house and I realized I left the charger behind. This one is great, works like the original.

So appreciate having accessory parts available. Lost this cord and thought I would have to buy a new unit. Instead, it was simple just to get another cord. It works great.
