Good quality primer, does the job.

Used this as a first layer on tiles (after using another brand in a different room without a primer since it claimed it was one coat and didn’t need primer!) It went on great. Much thicker than the other brand I used and the tile paint went in great after this. Only needed this and 1 coat of tile paint (rather than 4 coats with a previous brand!!)

I've used this primer before and i really liked it's coverage plus it worked really well on covering dark pine. I bought it on offer which was great and the 750 ml size seems small but it goes along way. It's my second favourite primer after Zinnser 123 which is very expensive but very good. It doesn't have a strong smell at all and it's a little tacky but water based so it's easy to clean off brushes and rollers. One or two coats maybe needed depending on the surrface your covering. It dries to a matt white finish.

I’m no pro, but I am a pretty good amateur decorator and know my way around most paints and preparations. This works well if you sand lightly first, don’t overspread it; be quite liberal when applying the first coat, work quite fast as it dries quickly, lightly sand the second coat when completely dry say after 12 hours then apply either a gloss/satin oil based or water based final coat.I used it on dark brown, PVC French windows which I had sanded prior to the first coat and I must say that the finished job using oil based Orchid White looks good.

says it works on every surface however it does not work on Ikea furniture. on a second attempt I lightly sanded the surface and still no better. have now had to sand back completely hopefully it holds this time

Covered our stone fireplace perfectly, but strong odour so wear a mask and ventilate room!

Needed for covering some melamine detailing on cupboards. Sanded the surface down first then applied 2 coats of this (it needed 2 coats even on a white background). It dries more opaque than it goes on. Brushes clean easily in water.
