My dog has completely stopped moulting after 2 weeks of using these. You could not stroke her without being covered in hairs. Honestly we will by using this in her food going forward.

I bought these for my little old Scottie dog she ha d blood tests and they found she had high liver enzymes so liver was not great….she is 13 years old. The vet recommended some tablets that would have cost £70 .00 per month. When I looked at the ingredients in the tabs the main ingredient was milk thistle(which is good for liver). So looked on Amazon for Dorwest Herbs cos know they are a good make and I found that they did milk thistle tablets for a much cheaper price so I thought I’d try them for my dog. She hasn’t yet had another blood test so I don’t know if there is an improvement in her liver enzymes but she has been taking them for 3 weeks now and she seems a bit more lively and not so sleepy so I’m keeping fingers crossed. She has to have another blood test in two months so I will let you know results. Hope these tablets help .

These tablets seem to have helped my elderly dog, they are very small ,so easy to administer if you put them in liver paste.

Recently I switched from the vets Presciption of Denamarin 225mg, to using these and a product called max Same, He has made a massive improvemnt, I switch as I thought I had nothing to lose, as my dog was so sick I really could not see him surviving another week, the vets precription meant 2 hours no food before and after taking the tablet which made him sick so most of the time I was finding the tablet in the garden, With these and the Max Same together, my dog has started to enjoy going out for walks again, not bad when I was thinking he was not going to survive another week, and very slowly he is starting to eat again, the diarea has totally stop ( ammazing on its own as my vet has tried everything on there shelf for the past 9 months ) Im not sure wether my dogs diarea is caused by his liver failer or his pancreatitis, but I am so very happy it has stopped and there is no more blood in it. As for sickness, we still have some odd days of sickness, but I have started feeding really small quantitys, ( he seems to eat to please me, and not becouse he wants to, as if I leave food down he wont touch it, however if I hand feed it he will eat it) So in short, with the Max Same, these milk Thistle tables, they are working miricles ! ( please note I still give pro enzorb for the pancreatitis.)

I picked this up because one of my dogs had got poisoned and the concern was that there was going to be damage to his liver. I got recommended this by a friend that said that her cat had liver issues and that after using this it put her cat back into the normal range so I though I'd pick this up. My dog's liver after getting a blood test states that he's in the normal range again, I don't know if it will be because of this or because he may not have had life long issues with his liver but it's better to be safe than sorry so this will be a staple in his diet from now on. I'm definitely glad that I've found this. Price wise I think it's reasonable for what it is - would we bat an eye if this was the price for Milk Thistle for humans? No so we should treat our dogs the same, if it's going to keep them healthy as well.

Cannot believe the difference in my 14 year old dog. She was completely off her food and anything she did eat, she was vomiting straight up. She had lost so much weight and seemed so poorly. I honestly thought she would only last a couple of weeks and was preparing myself for the worst. I gave the milk thistle to her, grinded up in full fat natural yoghurt. After a couple of days, her vomiting was much less and she started being interested in normal food again, albeit in very small portions. After less than 2 weeks (we had to check the dates as couldn't believe how quick it was) she had put on weight. Her spine was so bony and you could see her ribs, but she was noticeably padding out. She was livelier too and even jumped up at me a few times which she hadn't been doing. She is still sick occasionally, but is so much improved. The best bit is that the vet wanted to sell us a supplement which was £86 for one month's supply! We were sure we could get something cheaper online and when we checked the active ingredient in the vet's supplement, it was milk thistle so thought we would try this and see. I am very impressed. I have bought a different brand this month which is ground up already, just because it's a pain crushing the tablets up every day, so will see how we get on with that. It was the reviews I had read that made me decide on this product, so hope I have helped others make their mind up too.

It was suggested by my vet to use Demarian as liver support but I found it a nightmare, so found these Dorwest tablets which are an absolute dream!My dog is very fussy but she’s fine having these and excellent, positive news from her last blood!These are over half the price too!100% recommend!
