Brought this as a xmas present for my dad as he has seen others like this and liked them. Nice item , packaged well and would buy from again

It was leaking after two weeks. Went in the bin. Very badly made, the price reflects the lack of quality. Then I found the real thing made by an expert. Now I have ten sand pictures ranging from 'Deep Sea' series up to 'Movie Medium' and 'Ballerina' series. Stunning. If you want quality, spend the money. All come with full instructions and needle for regulation of air. Trust me.

Bought this for a present for someone with Alzheimer's who it is very difficult to find something that will occupy them for any length of time. They absolutley love it because of the simplicity of what is required from them. Basically it just requires turning over to produce a new picture but they have discovered that tilting it on its side first for a while often produces a far better result. A few months later they are still using it regularly.

This is a beautiful sand picture, more like watching snow falling than anything else.There were no air bubbles in mine so it all just moves around, and bits seem a bit stuck in there, but that gives it a kind of beauty in itself. It's also fairly solidly built and feels sturdier than some others I've owned.

This was a gift so I checked it was not broken but sadly it doesn't work there is a large bubble in it so the sand won't drop. There are instructions in the box on how to remove air if needed but you need a small gage syringe!!! Not sure about anyone else but this is not something I have in my house! So little disappointed as my sister had one just like this when she was younger and was hoping to give it to her as she loved it.

Just like the classic ones this functions perfectly I syringed the excess air. You can only suction the air in or out on only one side even though there is a needle whole on both sides. I marked this out with a scratch and a circle. This was kuz I bent two needles trying to get it in. Endless hours of fun and great as a gift.

Very disappointing the fluid does not cover the whole inside of the glass. This means the sand stays at the top of the glass.

I bought this for myself and am delighted with it as very relaxing to look at and no problems with air bubbles at all. Thank you and well done.
