For bobbin loading: make sure its a number 9, and pull the thread forward through thr ridge.....it's so easy to change the thread when you know how! Thank god for youtube. But the machine itself-fantastic!!! We've made barbie dresses, I've used it to stitch up the waist on my daughters trousers, and lots if real crafts! Kids love having a play too. Fantastic, bought another as a gift for an 8 year old and she loves it. Batteries have lasted quite a while, which was something I was worried about as its not mains operated, but as a result it's super portable!!!

As a sewing machine user, I think that overall it is an excellent little machine.I bought it for my 7 year old granddaughter & she very quickly learnt to use it & with no prior experience. Initially she controlled the pedal with her hand, with it next to her, but soon mastered the ability to operate it by foot. I use a sewing machine regularly & am impressed. Threading can be a challenge & I’m not always happy with the tension, but still pleased with my purchase.

Fit for purpose good for price a christmas present which hopefully our 7year old grand daughter will enjoy

This product does not work very well at all. It is meant to be for a child but it is very, very difficult even for an adult to get it to actually sew anything and when you do, it only lasts a few seconds before it cuts out and you have to spend another 20 minutes or so trying to get it to work again. Very disappointing. I wish I’d taken more notice of the reviews but my child was so desperate for a little seeing machine that I gave in. Complete waste of money.

Not easy to operate as it does stay still on the desk because of size. However, easy to use if adult hold it still. Could do with some sort if suction. Stitches very well

Great gift idea for kids

This is a very cute sewing machine which you can use Tia cranky stitch clothes. Little one is excited to learn to stitch her dolls clothes. Only downside is it is battery operated, would have been better if it was electric but otherwise really good purchase.Unfortunately stopped working.
