Exactly what I wanted
I'm a medical student and bought this so I can practise neurology examinations at home before OSCEs. It's exactly as I had hoped - the same as the NHS hospital ones. Fairly bendy (good for testing reflexes).The pointed tip is good. It comes with a rubber cover around it, which is a bit tight (difficult to get off).Excellant value for money and just as described.

Ok I guess
The plastic handle arrived bent and in fairness feels on the cheap side. Was bought for practice use. Probably just about good enough for a student. Time will tell how well it holds up. You get what you pay for, springs to mind!

Good enough for practice but not what I'd call hospital quality
No matter how hard I look I can't find a reflex hammer as good as the ones we have in the hospital.The handle of this one is slimmer than the tendon hammers on placement and a bit more flexible but I have still been able to reliably elicit reflexes when practising for medical finals. It's not the greatest quality but for the price it's good enough.

Not a professional piece of kit
Reflex was cheaply made. The stem was far too flexible for what I'm used to and really cheap and calls. The head of the hammock was small and ultimately I feel slightly cheated now looking to buy something a bit more professional.

Poor quality
Product is very poor quality. The handle is extremely bendy and the top quite hard meaning it is slightly painful when used.

Gag gift for my son!
Bought as a stocking filler for my 12 yo son who finds it fascinating and funny! The wand bit feels a little flimsy. I'm no expert, but if you were planning to buy this to use for proper medical purposes, it might be worth spending a bit more to get something more sturdy.
