Really useful for converting a European 2 pin style plug into a UK 3 in style

Unfortunately it did not fit my 2 pin plug from a Japanese paraffin heater from amazon. Apart from that it looks good .

Having bought an electronic device with a euro plug fitted, I wasn't happy with the poor quality Chinese adapter that was included. The prongs rarely touched and it would lose its connection. This adapter is the perfect upgraded adapter. The plug fits tightly inside, yet is easy to remove when needed.This is great value for a little over £4. It's easy to connect and works immediately. I can definitely recommend this.

I've been using this adapter for about a week now with my Vernee Apollo Lite Euro charger and it has done the job very well.There is a screw in the bottom that stops the 2 (Round) prong plug falling out once it is tightened. In the past I have had others that did not do this so it was good to be able to rely on the adapter.To install/setup all you need to do is undo the retention screw fully insert the 2 (round) pronged euro plug into the adapter, making sure it is properly seated. Then close the top and reinsert the retention screw and tighten fully. Once done you should not be able to pull the plug out by accident and would require a fair bit of force.This type of adapter is great for wall mounted sockets and places where space directly in front of the socket is minimal as the plug is aimed downward. I have both types of adapter for different places in the house but this one will come with me if travelling within UK due to reduced footprint.It is built from a decent quality white plastic similar, if not identical, to your normal appliance plugs with a replaceable fuse on the underside. This is good as the less expensive fuse will blow first in case there's a short saving your charger. The earth prong is only plastic but that is because the original isn't earthed either.All in all a quality product and well worth the money I paid for it. I will most likely buy more in future for other devices when I get them.Pros: Great build quality, effective design, safety features included (fuse) slim design for home and travel, Allows for easy removal of plug with just on screw.Cons: Non so far but I will update if any occur.Thank you TJWhiteStar.

I know this doesn't say you get 2 of these, but I took this to mean you do. You only get one!This was fine, I only needed one anyway. When it arrived I found ti quite difficult to work out how to get the 2 pin plug into it, there was a screw loose and I couldn't get the lid to lift up. It turned out in the end, that mine just fits into the bottom, but I'd have been stuck if it were slightly bigger.All in all, not bad, does the job and I'm happy now, but I feel it is verging on misleading ease of adapter use and number included.

I bought a product that I wasn't aware aware only came with a euro plug. This adapter fits over that plug perfectly and locks into place so that the plug is secure. This adapter covers all is the relevant safety requirements

Other reviewers have commented on the inadequacy of the retaining screw and I agree - with it tightened so fully that I stripped its retaining thread, the screw made little or no difference to the adaptor’s ability to lock the plug in place. However, with or without the screw, the adaptor grips my Xiaomi phone charger OK so it’s fine for my purpose. Value for money: a bit overpriced given it’s failings. Sturdiness: fine apart from the locking screw. Ease of use: couldn’t be any more uncomplicated.

Works and good value. I got a lighted mirror dresser with an EU plug and my old adapter wouldn't work as the prongs are half plastic. Then I needed an adapter with the adapter and it looked bad and was hanging so sometimes didn't make the connection. This solves the problem. The plug fits in securely and it works perfectly. Just what I needed and happy with purchase.
