Overpriced but cute...
The product was smaller than I expected it to be (my fault for not looking at the measurements more closely) but is what is advertised to be. Bigger books would hide the whole thing but any mid-sized one makes it looks cute. The plastic seems kind of cheaply made and in my opinion, the piece is overpriced.

Cheap junk
$45! For a piece of plastic and a LARGE, OBTRUSIVE basic light bulb for the illumination. Junk. Small. Cheap.

Cheap, Bad Design
Very cheap product for the price point, the on off switch is not located near the housing of the light, so if you need the full extension of the cable, the on/off switch is not accessible.It’s a cheap build, just a plastic housing for an LED light. The light isn’t dimmable, color temp controllable and overall it’s a very poor design, returning this.Only giving it 2 stars because it works and looks good, the design is just bad especially for $40+

Great lamp and bedside light
Great lamp and bedside light. Love it! I only wish the on/off switch was a closer to the lamp. It is over a foot away from the lamp so it is sometimes a pain to reach with the cord is not coming towards you. Also, wish the light bulb that comes with it was just a little brighter but you can probably put in a different bulb to fix that.

Terrible cheap plastic quality, unappealing white light, not the warm light shown in photos.Description also says it comes with a power supply, which is not true, no power supply is included in the box

Plastic, not glass
I got a Suck UK bookrest lamp years ago as a gift - loved it - unfortunately broke it while moving recently. I was excited to see that I could buy a replacement!The original was heavy frosted glass - this one is cheap plastic which (as others have noted) already appears scuffed in some places. This version also seems significantly smaller.There’s NO reason for this to cost $50. Disappointed.
