Lovely alternative to coffee
I remember that my grandmother used to drink dandelion coffee years ago, so when I wanted an alternative to coffee I decided to try this.I drink far too much coffee and this has helped me cut down, so now I sleep better and feel less jittery. It is easy to make in a cafetiere and you can refill it a few times before the flavour is lost, so a little goes a long way.It doesn't actually taste like coffee but it has a lovely flavour in its own right, and although it is quite expensive it is worth giving it a try.

Great tasting product
For a healthy alternative drink and great taste. Easy to use. I use a cup filter. Good value.

Pleasantly surprised
I gave this a shot as I can’t have ordinary coffee anymore because of histamine intolerance. The flavour isn’t the same as coffee and can’t easily be defined. It’s a dark drink with an infusion of caramel slightly sweet taste not unpleasant. I don’t put too much in, just a teaspoon and let it stew for 5 minutes. I have it black and it tastes great. Not quite coffee but a reasonable facsimile.

Delicious
I'm trying to cut on my daily coffee for a bit and found this alternative. Love the taste. O think this is so far the best coffee alternative I've had. I do not like barley or chicory ones.

looks like coffee tastes like puff candy.
it's alright. i'd say it tastes a bit like puff candy. nothing like coffee at all. ok as an alternative. one cup's enough though. it isn't quite instant. it has to be boiled for 5mins. i just put it in a flask with boiling water.

Suitable alternative to coffee
Wanted a different drink to coffee before bed as have problems sleeping and get fed up of tea. So ,1 heaped teaspoon in a saucepan 2 cups cold water ,bring to boil simmer for 5 mins.turn off and sieve it when wanted add honey or sugar OR sweetener and milk amd good to go ...slightly toffee flavour which is pleasent ,helps me sleep a bit and doesnt have me up weeing several tines in night like tea or coffee. I Only have a small cup amd then when the rest is cool put in sealed container in fridge and microwave as needed the next day ...really cheap compared to other ones vey pleased

Unusal Taste
Sadly I do not like it. I like the Symingtons Dandelion Coffee and as it is no longer available, I decided to try this but it is not to my taste and not instant either. Great disappointment.

Great taste without the caffeine
I have developed an intolerance to caffeine which was a bit of a blow as coffee was one of life’s pleasures for me. I found this alternative, and thought I would give it a go. Years ago I used to drink dandelion coffee but it was in an instant form. This is more of a fresh product, and I make it just like fresh coffee. One teaspoon in a small cafetière, let it brew for about 10 minutes then add to warm milk, at least that’s my preference. Don’t chuck the dregs away though, as you can top up the cafetière later, and the second cup is even better than the first.I think I even prefer this to coffee now, and it’s doing me good. A really great find.
