Our first EV! Our KIA EV 9 is a dream, but we knew that we might need to buy a charge when on the road. Some places ONLY HAVE Tesla, so we got this adapter. Works fine. BTW, Hotels/Motels often have charging station and they’re open to the public. I was able to find stations on PLUG SHARE.

This is a Level 2 (240VAC) adapter for NACS Tesla chargers and Superchargers for vehicles with J1772 car socket. It does not have the large DC prongs, so it only works at about 5.5KW. Some locations like hotels, etc. don't do high voltage DC charging so they default to Level 2 AC. If the charger is not J1772, this adapter is for you. Works on Mercedes EQ vehicles.

This NEVER worked. I bought it pre-mature & only tried to use it once within my return window & since I was new to EVs I thought it was user error. Now I’ve tried it multiple times & it’s never worked with my Mercedes EQB at a Tesla charger. I tried my friends adapter & it worked right away. It sucks cause now it’s past my return window & a waste of money.

Item came on time as promised . So far I have no complaints, this adapter is working fine . I use it to plug into my current Tesla wall charger so charging takes a lot longer but it beats charging away from home.
