Have you prepared your child?
I bought this bike for my 6 year old daughter knowing that it did not include training wheels and that she had never ridden a bike without training wheels. When she was much younger, she had a Disney themed big wheel tricycle, a retrospec balance bike, and then a Red Rider tricycle. The morning after I had assembled this for her, she dragged me outside way too early in the morning to try it out, so I showed her how to try to keep balance and how to catch herself in case she can't. Went back inside to do some chores and when I went back out half an hour later to check on her, she was riding two wheels down the street without training wheels by herself with no help. Well I attribute a fair amount of that to previous experience with other bicycles and balance bikes, I feel like this bike made it very easier for her to transition. It wasn't just because it was a lighter bike because I've definitely seen Walmart bikes that are slightly lighter, but it seems much more balanced with a much more centered center of gravity.

Not a bad bike for the price!
Got this bike for my son as his second ever bike. We initially looked at the big name, apparently "ultra-safe" bike, but we were turned off by the non-stop emails the company started sending us. And then the cost... they want HOW MUCH for a bike they openly admit my child will outgrow in less than two years??? Yeah, no. We started looking for more reasonable options and found this bike. It has most, if not all, of the same features as that "protective" bike, but for a lot less. Assembly was relatively quick and simple. The only issue I had with the bike was one valve stem tore out of the innertube of one tire... Thankfully a local sporting goods store had the right size in stock on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. My son loves the bike and enjoys riding it, which is more than could be said about his first bike. He's crashed it and dropped it a bunch of times but you cannot tell, it's just that durable. It may be a little on the heavy side, but that just builds character (and muscle)! When he outgrows this one, we'll probably buy the next size up.

Happy with the bike
We’re pretty happy with this bike. My 5 year old rides it and has done well with it. (He already knew how to ride without training wheels on smaller bike). The hand brakes were new to him but he figured it out pretty quickly. He was just on the edge of being tall enough to reach when we got it which was a bit of a challenge but he has room to grow with it. He dropped it a few times and the front brake pads fell off but we should be able to find replacements for it hopefully. After about a year, it also needs a new back tire bc he likes to make skid marks and the tire is very worn. When putting it together, my husband did have to put some time into it to try to straighten out the front wheel since the frame seemed a little crooked/bent.

Great Purchase
This is a great looking bike! I surprised my 7 year old son with it on his birthday and he loves it! It’s easy to ride. I love that it doesn’t have the coaster break and he does too. There’s also room to grow into it. He’ll definitely be able to keep this bike for a couple years!

Quality, great color and fits just right
Took some setup but has been great for 8 year old. Basket and customization with stickers are excellent. Quality compared to others.Basket is really cute to hold things and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

Brake knocks out of place
Amazing!!! My daughter rides her bike almost every day…One concern I do have is that the brake keeps knocking out of place 😕

Light weight bike
If you are looking for a bike for your kids then this is the good one in the market. I did a lot of research before buying this bike for my 6 years old. This bike is light weight, adjustable seat to fit my kid’s height, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. I tried this bike my own and there was no problem with this bike carrying an adult like me.

Great bike for the money
Bought this bike for my daughter. She loves it and it has held together nicely considering she is a little rough with it.Only reason for 4 stars is because there is a coating on the paint in certain areas that causes the bike to be dirty all the time because you can’t wash whatever is on it off in these areas. Not a big deal.Great Bike.
