QuietStove SRV Tool for MAX SIEVERT Svea 123, Optimus-Svea 123/123R

This is not at all a designed and use-specific bit for removing the pressure relief valves from swedish made vintage stoves. This bit is just a standard pentalobe security bit. It looks to be a size 20 one. So not only is this tool not specific to vintage swedish stoves, it also doesn't fit. It has no engagement whatsoever with the relief valve. You'd have to tap it in with a hammer. This damaged and swages out the valve. I know this because I did this previously with a standard pentalobe bit. I was hoping to service my vintage stoves with a nice tool that would not damage the original brass parts. If you don't mind the marring of the brass and swaging to fit this bit then otherwise it would work. But if you want to RESTORE your stoves without damaging and modifying you will have to look elsewhere.

If your rebuilding a SVEA, Optimus or Primus fuel cap with a pressure relief valve….this is the tool you need. Fits and works great. Worth the money…the first time you use it.

This only BARELY fits into the pentagonal hole on my filler cap. Like seriously, less than a 16th of an inch. Probably less. For ten bucks, that's a rip off in my book. I can make it work, but it's going to jigger up the hole doing it. I'll probably need to use a couple of light hammer taps to expand the brass so this will fit a bit better. I HATE stripping tools and holes, but will probably have to in this case.
