Using these on some larger tubs I cut holes in the lids
I do have a couple of the small hydroponic systems and they are fine, but they are also SMALL. I wanted a larger tub that could grow larger plants and with the use of the clay pebbles, my cucumber and very small melon plants are doing well (Tigger is a 1 pound melon - about the size of a softball) and allows me to grow them inside year round with some grow lights. My yard's soil is horrible and while I do have some grow bags outside I don't grow much of MY veggies out there because I live next to woods and when anything begins to ripen, raccoons and other critters steal them. These net pots are sturdy and a good size for many plants.

Good for home use
Very lightweight which is good but I wish they were a little sturdier. The lip where the cup sits down in the hole needs to be larger but it will work as it is. They work good for a home use/home built hydroponics setup but I wouldn’t use them commercially because I don’t believe they will last very long. I ran a commercial hydroponics farm in the past and the ones used there were much sturdier but also more expensive. So for home use I think these are perfect.

Amazing value
Whether you’re just starting in hydroponics or you’re a seasoned pro, you’ll find that this is a bargain! The baskets are flexible but sturdy. The lip is a little small, but I can manage. These should last a couple of seasons before having to replaced, but luckily there’s 500 of them! There has been several times where I have to cut baskets to move or transplant without damaging roots, so them being cheap makes the decision to cut the basket off an easier choice.
