Works well, all I needed was a relay. Not to big, fitted in the Boot lid nicely

Use thicker gauge wire
The solenoid did not work properly at first due to the wire provided not being thick enough, but once a heavier gauge wire was used it worked fine

easy instal, easy set up. money's worth.
It's easy to set up. I've connected to a remote after the boot lid lock refused to let me open it.Worked really well for a bit but now it's a bit hit and miss. Could do with a stronger solenoid.Gave me a good idea what to look for though.Definitely more likely to work better on a door rather than a boot.
