Nice Added Touch To My Nest Setup
Great quality! Looks really clean after install and made plugging an awkward hole next to my A/C a simple project. Gives my old home a slightly modern look for a fraction of the price. No compatibility issue at all with my older gen Nest model.

Covers the bald spot on the wall left by the old rectangular thermostats.Perfect fit for Nest thermostat and easy to include in the installation.I've ordered this same cover plate four times and never had painting or wall repairs required.

Not as nice as I had hoped
According to the advertisement, this product had everything I wanted - but it was EXPENSIVE! When I received it, it had all the qualities I’d hoped for but I was disappointed with the overall feel-it didn’t have the heft I was expecting at that price point - it feels a bit like some less expensive models I look at. It does have the auto close feature however and that was the main reason I selected this product.

matching the description
The parts matched the description and the installation was very easy to perform. I would have liked to pay less for a plastic plate, a metal plate and screws but nevertheless, it fits the nest thermostat. Arrived on time.

Didn't fit
Be careful, this didn't work for me, it didn't fit with the existing wiring until in the wall and my just purchased NEST. Not all as standard as I assumed.

Photo not what it looks like
Does not look like the installation. It looks like it should be reversed where the edges are facing the wall but that’s not what the words on the panel are saying. Disappointed but need it for thermostat.

Excellent Solution For Mounting Nest Thermostat
This is a great solution when you change your old thermostat with the latest Nest thermostat. You can conceal the wall imperfection by using this kit. It comes with a plastic white plate that comes in contact with the wall, the steel plate, and mounting screws to get the job done in 5 minutes. It does not come with instructions but it is very easy to figure it out or you can check the description of the item before assembling it. I recommend this trim kit to everyone looking to correct any imperfection on their wall.
