AQUAJET (Electric Motor for Paddleboard, Canoe, Kayak, Etc...)

Like others, the watch and main thruster unit would not pair. The thruster would not enter pairing mode (I tried many many times) so the item is useless. I really wanted it to work!!

The media could not be loaded. I love to be out on the water. I go to the Emerald Cave during the summer months. I have a standup paddleboard, and I use it more like a kayak. Last year a doctor botched a surgery on my arm, and I have nerve damage and numbness, and I was afraid that I might not be able to paddle and so, I got this as a Christmas present from a friend. I took it out yesterday for the first time, and I love it. Hopefully I will be able to paddle and my arm will not bother me too much but this way I have a back up it’s really easy to use and I was just zipping around with it. Lots of fun, I highly recommend it . UPDATE- this is embarrassing but I am posting to help other- The fit of the motor was so tight in the fin slot that I did not secure it with the pin to hold to lock it in place. I towed another paddle boarder and the motor seemed to be doing fine- but when there was slack in the tow line the motor shot out in front of my paddle board and I panicked and hit the power off button it stopped moving and promptly began to sink- I forgot I had my life jacket on and jump in to get it but could not dive down because of the life jacket. Needless to say my motor is at the bottom of the river. I am ordering another one and will not make the mistake of not locking the pin into place again. And probably will not tow someone unless it's an emergency.

Worked awesome for 2 months then stopped working completely.

I received the motor in great time, it is not that fast, but works well with the watch. I had to hold it in the water and propel since I could not install it to the fin slot on any of my paddle boards. I wish it would have come with the fin adapter included. to get the adapter is now a 4 week wait. there is no way this would fit any board or replace a fin without the adapter?

The paddle board had an issue so I had to wait on the new paddle board - finally have the board and aquajet together and time off to try them in the water. Not pairing with the watch and I can’t get the aqua jet to work. - now it’s too long to return-(3days past Amazon return policy . I’m out 300$ - this is the worst - tell me how to work your product or take it back please

Easy to use and tons of power for a little electric motor.

These things are a lot of fun when you just feel like cruising around.Get about 3.2 miles at half power on my SUP or a bit over two hours runtime. While turned off dragis not bad and board tracks slightly worse than a grass fin. Paddling with motor on tracks amazingly well.Like watch controller - comfy, easy to use by touch alone and at night.My biggest criticism signaling between watch and motor should be fail-safe. Three times so far turned off watch only for the motor to keep going. Had to turn watch back on and then off again to get it to stop.

So I added this to my kayak because well I'm almost 50 years old and I'm too lazy to be kayaking all the time so it's kind of nice to just cruise around Newport Beach. I've had it so far about five months and it works I did it purchased extended warranty in case I do need it I will let you know if you're gonna add this thing get rubber mounting piece from yak attack and 3 sets of largest bottles of jd welb to mount it. Take my advice I've done one almost fell off I did two it almost fell off barely holding on and now I've done three and so far it has not fell off from the yak attack mount.
