The PHILIPS Full Glow 9 W B22 Warm White Clear Glass LED Bulb and PHILIPS Full glow 12 W B 22 Frosted Diffused Glass LED Bulb are energy efficient like the polycarbonate bulbs and has no difference in energy consumption. The main difference is the material and light throw. The 9 W clear WW bulb offers warm white light which is suitable for persons looking to bring back old 90's memories and not suitable for bright lightning applications offered by white LED's. The lumens of the 9 W clear bulb is only 700lm so don't expect the light to be too bright but the brightness is sufficient for a LED filament warm white bulb. The 12 W white frosted bulb on the other hand offers a brighter and soft white light output with 1200lm. The 12 W frosted glass led bulb can be used to replace conventional 12 W polycarbonate bulb. Both the bulbs comes in various base and base of bulb (eg : B22, E27) should be selected as per your 🏡's bulb base requirements. Installation is easy and the bulb (B22) fits in regular base smoothly. Bulbs condition will be great only when used indoor or places hidden away from sunlight. No difference in ligting performance. Compared to polycarbonate bulbs Glass LED's are eco friendly😊Note : Handle the bulb with care as these bulbs are made of glass and may slip if handled with wet hands.𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 : The glass led bulb tends to become hot when used as there are no heat sinks like that of in polycarbonate led bulbs. The brightness is equivalent to 9 watt, it's perfect use is for table lamp , decorative laltern and alike. Suggest to go for 9 watt filament bulb.

Lumens per watt is less for 9W,12W also feels less bright, but good thing is it is less bluish, does not flicker unlike all cheaper bulbs from all brands

You should know exactly how you are going to use this bulb. There are two different bulbs 1) Focused light bulbs, which has a flat circular disc with LEDs and comes with a pvc diffuser half way 2) Filament type LED groups like this bulb which come in clear glass or diffuser.This bulb is the second type and is good for conditions where you need light to be distributed all around, for instance in a floor lamp or table lamp with shade. This works best for such scenarios. But this is not the best to be used in reading lamp or work lamp etc. For reading, you will need a focussed bulb like the first type.Also, if you need to place the bulb at a higher position on a wall like in bathrooms etc, then this bulb is not for that purpose. You will be better off with the first type of bulb which will give you majority of the light firing downwards.Note that the clear glass bulb actually looks brighter than it is rated for. So, if you want a regular 12 watt bulb, then you should get the 9w clear glass bulb in this type. It may be too harsh on eyes if you don't choose the right wattage, especially with clear glass bulbs because it has no diffuser between your eyes and the LED itself.
