It tastes great. We use it to flavor whipping creme for deserts and other things. I am going to try making my own vanilla creamer for coffee. Should be great.

I know it's pricey, but this is honestly a great tasting vanilla. And yes, you can taste the difference. Especially in cookies. . And fair trade!

I love the taste of this vanilla! The bottle size and quality is exceptional! Just opening the bottle to smell it, is wonderful! I love that it's organic! It is very giftable!

So many products are available fair trade now.. most of the first world is supplied via slave labor (I don't like the watered down euphemism 'forced labor'), so even though this product is expensive, it comes from a reputable source (that's the idea). Until corporate slave owners stop hoarding many millions and billions en leui of paying everyone in their chain of labor fairly, I will buy fair trade and aim to start growing my own food.Oh, and the vanilla tastes pretty good.

I decided to give this brand a try after I ran out of my former one. I was looking forward to it based on reviews and the description. However, upon pouring it into a teaspoon I already noticed its color was far less darker than the Villa brand I use. Then was the taste test. I mixed it into my plain yogurt and sweeten lightly with honey. Same amount as I usually use, but the only difference is this new vanilla extract. The flavor was lacking. ): I had to add double nearly triple the amount I used to use to achieve the previous vanilla flavor.It smells more like bourbon than vanilla. I would say this quality is medium. The price is expensive for a small amount, while being less potent. I usually use a lot of vanilla extract as I like baking also. This may not stand in your baked goods because the flavor is so light. May need to double the portion, but lessen the other liquid ingredients.Size per price with middle quality. I dont think it is worth it sadly. I was excited.. but I will be going back to the other brand. It was worth a shot. The Villa brand does have sugar although this one doesnt, but potency between the two is quite drastic.

Baking

I highly recommend this vanilla for ALL baked goods, lattes, ice cream - virtually anything that calls for vanilla. Its aroma is strong, sweet and tropical and the flavor is rich and beautifully complimentary to chocolate, custards, cakes and candies. It costs more than others but it’s organic and Free Trade, meaning responsible farmers make and sell their own product and earn a better living through their hard work and dedication.
