Through a number of remodels, my house lost the door to the garage in favor of a bigger kitchen.My brother helped me frame and install a new door. This led to a step that was too steep down into the garage.This kit and an oak stair tread (and a number of other pieces of oak trim) resulted in an excellent, easy to install, solution.

Built this past weekend and it worked great!

These worked very well for a outdoor deck stair - very heavy duty, well made, and attractive. We wanted the stairs to our deck to have the same floating effect as the deck itself, and these fit the bill perfectly. The also come with an excellent quality hardware pack for multiple installation options. Good value for the price as well.

Makes building stares easy as cutting a pie they look fantastic and can be up and done in less than 1 hour I have built many of wooden stares but no more not when something this easy is on the market, as a matter of fact I will be buying anther set for my back door.

The media could not be loaded. These stringers are by far the best purchase I have made in a while for the price! I had to bend the top bolt bar to fit my application which was easily done with a heavy hammer. Each set of bolt holes were exact and in the exact spot for each step. I used 2.5” long 5/16 lag bolts with washer, lock washer nut for the steps 2 in each step per stringer and to mount to the platform it’s a 3/8 hole so I used 1.5 long 3/8 bolts with washer, lock washer, nut.

This was an easy product to install. We did use 2 orders to cover the span that we were building . Now have a rock solid stairs to our deck. Looks like it is very durable and hope to get many years service

Was able to easily add steps to my deck that had none. Allowed me to keep the space for the steps to a minimum. Used Trex deck board for the steps. I hope the white metal does not rust over time after rain, but we'll see. If it rusts, I'll update this review.
