Good hitch so far, gets the job done
Sturdy and gets the job done. Just finished towing a trailer with the 2" ball and I'll be using the shackle to pull a car a few miles this evening, so we'll see how that goes. Removed one star for a few minor reasons:1. The lockong pin is super long and rattles like a sonuvagun, so you might want to do what I did and cut a piece of rubber tube to slip over it and snug it up.2. It sticks out extremely far. Unnecessarily far, in my opinion. But it's tolerable, just watch your shins when you walk around the back and bear it in mind when you're backing up.3. Don't expect the black paint to stay on if you intend on actually using it. First use and I've got the 2" ball almost completely down to bare metal. If you just want it for looks it'll last, otherwise don't be surprised when it starts to look ugly. Function over fashion for me.

I bought this to go on my new truck. I like it and have found it to be a versatile and attractive hitch. Yes, the paint flakes off after towing...a trailer weighing several thousand pounds bouncing around will do that. If you don't like it, get something stainless. I've used the shackle to pull shrubs up, and it's worked well under load. Yes, the hitch bounces and makes some noise. Larger hitches tend to do that. Seems very sturdy. The lock works well, although it is a little longer than necessary.
