Yep, they are really good.
So these are not cheap trousers and you would expect them to be good, I did, however manage to get them at a significant discount by way of Amazon warehouse. They were supposedly without tags but seemed totally new to me. Anyway, I have worn them in the rain in a very soggy field and my trousers were still absolutely fine. I haven’t tried walking through brambles, but I will try not to unless I have to! They are a nice weight - not too thin, not too heavy - and the medium fits me perfectly. The only thing I don’t really like are the zips - they are quite small and I find they aren’t the easiest to operate with big wet fingers. I have a Berghaus Gore tex jacket which I bought about 10 years ago. it’s still kind of waterproof, but the hood does leak a bit and whatever I do to it does not seem to reactivate the coating. These trousers though seem to repel water. One thing I would like is a way to get into my trouser pockets or at least have something to put keys, dog poo bags, whatever in, but I guess that’s what the jacket is for. All in all I’m really happy with them I just wish I now had a new jacket to go with them!

Very good.
These are "jus as it says on the tin". They can be worn without trousers underneath, even in the winter, above 3° ish. They WILL keep you dry, absolutely !! Only issue I find, is the no pockets! I wear a bum bag to overcome that issue. To begin with, until you get used to wearing all your 'things' out of your pockets. It may make you look like a nutter, scramblung about your waistline screaming " Its gone, its gone, someones had my purse, my money, all my cash, its gone!!!" But,after a while you get used to having all your valuables securely,in your bum pack, I promise, its so much safer and easier. To sum up; the trousers may sound expensive, but, they keep you dry. No pockets, that can be remedied, easily, more securely.

Expensive but excellent!
I found that my old waterproof trousers, while keeping out water, made me hot and sweaty and I still ended up with damp jeans or trousers! So my wife bought me these Berghaus ones for Christmas. They are expensive but we could return then if they were no better. Well, it's now February: I have worn them in a variety of situations and have to say that they are excellent! They are warm (night time astronomy when the sky is clear but the temperature drops to around freezing), waterproof (when walking the dog in a downpour), windproof (dog walking in a howling storm) and breathable. No more sweaty trousers underneath! They have zips and poppers to allow them to be put on or taken off while wearing boots and to enable access to a trouser pocket. All in all they are exceptional performers - I guess you get what you pay for.

Very waterproof
These are very waterproof in prolonged rain. Long zips are easy to get on and off. Only downside is I would prefer poppers to cover the zips not Velcro, but it’s a minor thing. Can’t comment on durability yet only had them a month or so but they seem sturdy. Slightly on the tight side so if you’re in between sizes go for the bigger one, but when you get the right size the cut is good, roomy enough to cover trousers but not baggy. Decent trousers.

Great fit
These fit nicely and the leg length was just right, knowing they will protect through the heavy downfall is key in my work and these having gore-tex fabric means I won't sweat like a farm animal. Feel comfortable, great appearance and top performance. Versatile with top performance.
